Cole POV
Mikey and I have been home with Ava for a week. We're good parents, so far. My Chemical Romance started recording their new album. Lyn-Z has been coming over everyday to help with Ava.
Ava was napping, so Lyn-Z and I were watching TV on the couch. There was a knock on the door. "Is there a chance that it's Sarah?" Lyn-Z asked.
"Hopefully not." I said and got up. Ava was already all over the internet. Sarah still probably knows where we live. I got to the door and hesitated to open it. I put my hand on the knob and turned it. Cassie was on the other side.
"Hey." She said. She was holding Payton. "Can I come in?"
"Of course." I said and opened the door wider. She walked in and set Payton down on the floor. He wobbled over to Lyn-Z. Cassie hugged me.
"Cole, I am so sorry that I missed everything. I should've been there. I feel terrible."
"Do you want to see her?" I asked. She smiled and nodded. She followed me to Ava's room. I quietly opened her door and we walked in. Cassie quietly walked into her crib and looked at the sleeping baby girl. She smiled and we quietly exited the room. I closed her door and we walked downstairs.
"She looks like you." Cassie said.
"So I've heard. Cass, why weren't you there?"
She sighed and sat down on the couch. "I-I was drunk. I could barely stand up. Frank and I got in a fight. I needed something to make me forget."
"Are you two okay?" Lyn-Z asked.
"Yeah. We had make-up sex, so we're fine."
"Midget lovers are back!" I said and hugged her.
"Lyn-Z, I heard that you're getting married." Cassie said. Lyn-Z nodded. Cass hugged her. "I'm happy for you."
"Thanks." Lyn-Z smiled. Payton wobbled over to Cassie and held his arms up.
"Mama, up." He said. Holy crap, that was the most adorable thing ever. Cassie smiled and picked him up.
"That was so adorable." I said.
"That's his new thing. It sucks, because he keeps saying "dada". It kind of breaks my heart."
"I know. It sucks for me because Ava's so little. But, I have Lyn-Z"
"Can I come over? Like, while their recording, so I wont be alone and do something stupid." Cassie asked.
"Of course! I miss you. I need my little midget back." I said.
"I miss you, too." Lyn-Z said. Cassie smiled. Payton let out a small yawn.
"Someone's tired." Cassie said.
"You can go put him up in our room." I said. Cassie nodded and brought Payton up to my room. She came back and sat down on the couch.
"Girls time!" I cheered. Lyn-Z and Cassie laughed.
This might be a good couple of months.
