Natasha POV

Clint followed me to the elevator. We remained silent as it began to descend. Clint's hand suddenly shot out and the elevator screeched to a halt. The lights went off and he turned to me.

I swallowed and his blue eyes met mine. A smirk found its way to his lips.

"What're you doing?" I asked hesitantly.

He didn't reply but moved closer. I stepped back as he continued moving towards me.

"Clint, what're you doing?"

Clint leaned in until I could feel his breath on my face. It's not Clint. It's not him, I reminded myself.

Did I really care though?

Clint kissed me and I wrapped my arms around his neck. It was still the same. It didn't even seem like a different person. Clint pressed me against the elevator wall. That wasn't the same.

"Clint, stop."

"Why?"

"Because you aren't the same!"

"Does it matter?" He asked, pulling away slightly.

"You'll probably never get him back. So does it matter?" Clint smirked before kissing me again.
