Worlds Best- Untouched (A SwordArt Online FanFiction)

Chapter 1

"There have been a few games where your conciseness is sent into the game, Like Home World and Night Life but this one looked the best.

The creators of Home World have just released a brand new game called Worlds Best, and it certainly looks like it deserves that title."
Said the pretty lady on the tv.

"I really want Worlds Best, Home World was stupid how you can only become the god of a certain type of creature" complained my best friend Harry.

I looked back at the screen now showing beautiful pictures of mountains and valleys from the game.

"I don't know.. I already spent so much on home world and died straight away. I was only on level 80. And I can't be bothered starting again." I replied.

"Well let's sell our Home World headsets and buy Worlds Best!" Said Harry a little frustrated.

I thought about it for a few minutes. "If we can sell the headsets then I'll buy Worlds Best with you." I said.

"I'll put them up online" Harry said as he pulled out his phone.

I looked back at the tv screen.

"Unlike Home World and other games, Worlds Best does not have gods. Instead each player will have to battle powerful boss type creatures to gain levels and to rank number 1 on the leaderboard.
Players are spawned into a world never touched by civilization, which means no cities, no castles and no towns.
The very first players will have to build them by hand.
Worlds Best has officially started  so if you want to rule your own city, then I recommend you get the game very soon." Finished the pretty lady.

"Actually lets just go get the game now" I said to Harry and his face lit up.

----------4 hours later------------

Worlds Best was the same price as Home World, $2000.

I know, that's a lot of money for a game but it's worth it.

We both placed the Worlds Best headphones over our ears and and pressed the on button.
A loud buzzing noise filled the air and when I blinked I wasn't in my room anymore. But in a pure white room.
It reminded me of the start of Home World, except there wasn't a god waiting for me this time.

"What is your name?" Asked a loud voice that sounded a little robotic.

"Ahh...Ben" I replied. I don't like being called Benjamin.

"Choose a weapon."
Said the voice.
Then a bunch of tables faded into existence.
Every table was filled with different types of weapons, but they all looked like they were made out of iron.

I walked up to every table and inspected each weapon. The main types of weapons I saw were        - swords
- spears
- exes
- maces
- bow and arrows
- knifes
In home world I used a bow because I liked being able to kill my enemies from far away. So I found a group of thin knives and picked them up.
"Throwing knives picked"

I opened my inventory and placed them inside. The inventory system was exactly the same as Home World. I have no weight limit and I also found the same beginner items plus a few extra.
- 50 gold
- 20 healing potions
- 2 months worth of food.
- iron wood exe
- iron stone pick

The axe and pick were extra, I figured that they were to help people start new cities. Because people with battle axes don't want to blunt them chopping wood.

"Please rearrange your skill points to your liking"
Said the voice.

I opened up my stats and saw that I had 20 unspent skill points.
I spent all of them focusing mainly on speed and stamina.

The stat system was similar to Home Worlds except this one had a few more stats like agility and stamina.

"Do you have any questions?"
Asked the voice?

"Well...yeah, how do I finish the game?" I asked.
"Rule the world" is all she said before I blinked and found myself in a field with hundreds of other players walking around.
I saw a couple buildings already getting built out of wood.
Well they do need a beginners town.

Without any shops or buildings here I decided to head off.
If I started building far away, then get first pick of land. The game only started a few hours ago, so I doubt many players have explored that far.

Just as I was about to start running I head a familiar voice.
"Hey! Ben, I knew you would spawn some time."
Said Harry as he ran up to me.
I noticed that he was quite fast.

I smiled at him. "Hey, I was just about to head out. I want to build a city really far away, so I get some good land. Do you want to come and help?" I asked him because last time we split up and only saw each other once in game.

"Yeah! Let's go."
He said excitedly.

"What's your speed?"
I asked him, because I didn't want to be waiting for him.

"It's 6"
He replied.

"Ok let's go" I replied as we both started walking.
I didn't know when we were going to stop to build the town or city but I knew that we must run into a few creatures along the way.
