Chapter 14

"What type of eggs do you think they are?" Asked Reece.

"I don't know! " I replied.

In the chest is 3 pure white eggs.
"Let's take them outside" I suggested and Reece placed the entire chest in his inventory. Before we started walking out of the mine.

We all froze when we saw what was waiting for us.

30 elves all on horses surrounded us.
I equipped my weapons and armor and got ready to fight.

"Oh no! We mean no harm!" Said a elf on the only white horse.

"What do you want?" I asked not lowering my weapons.

"Ahh, you think we wish you harm after you killed so may elves, if you would come with me, I'll show you that we are actually grateful and wish to reward you not harm you."
Said the elf on the white horse.

He got of his horse and slowly walked over with his hands raised showing that he means no harm.

He has long brown hair like ever elf I've seen, except i noticed that these elves were a lot taller than the ones that attacked us.

"Why would you want to reward us for killing so many of your kind.?" I asked confused.

The elf smiled.
"They are not our kind.
Elves yes.. But different races and certainly different options" he said.
"You see, we are the Nala Jungle elves and we were at war with the Yola jungle elves. He said motioning to the village around us.

"We know that they attacked you first and that you killed them to protect your people, so my queen would like to meet you, and to thank you."
Said the elf.

I believed him.
He had multiple chances to kill us, even with their numbers alone.
"I would be honored to meet your queen."
I said and he told us to follow him on our horses.

--------20 minutes later ---------

"I know you noticed my saddle, but you haven't asked me where I got it from." I said to the lead elf.

He smiled.
"Yes, that is a saddle from one of our horsemen but I'm sure that there was just a misunderstanding when you acquired it."
He said.

"I brought it.
There still are humans out there that will attack you but, if things go good with your queen, I will vow to ban the killing of your kind in my land." I said and he laughed.

"Oh sorry, your land! Just to the humans they think it's mine."
I said trying to fix my mistake

"Don't worry about it." The elf said and we continued riding in silence.

-------10 minutes later ----------

I thought the last elven camp I saw was beautiful... But looking at the Nala elfs village is truly breathe taking.

Waterfalls and stunning rivers flow through the oasis that the elves live in.

Unlike the Yola elves the Nala elves have proper houses and buildings.

It looks like the buildings were grown instead of being built. Because the walls are roots and the roofs are leaves and branches.

Harman, the lead elf showed us to a house in the very center of the village and told us to go in.

I pushed past the leaf door and walked inside.
"Welcome humans! My name is queen Lea and I truly am thankful for what you have done for our tribe. " a beautiful elven woman said.

All 3 of us bowed "thank you, but I was just protecting my people.
I would like peace with your tribe and even an alliance?" I asked.

She smiled and patted for me to sit next to her.
Once I sat she said "war was tearing the jungle apart. The last battle we had with the Yola we lost 80 elves.
I called a meeting with Ugar the king of the Yola Elves and he said that marriage is the only way to stop the violence between races.
You stopped me from marrying that creep so we owe you everything.
An alliance will be extremely beneficial to both mine and your people." She said with a smile.

"Now! I hear that you have found something in the Yola mine?" She asked.
How did she know that!!?

"Ahh yeah... A chest with 3 eggs in it."

"3!? Wow, it usually is only 1 sometimes 2.
So you haven't touched them yet?" She asked.

"no, they are still in the chest."
I said and Reece pulled out the big chest.

"Good, once you hatch a Moldering it stays with you for life."
She said.

I'm so confused!!
"Wait! What's a moldering?, how do we hatch them, and how come they are in a golden chest in the middle of a chunk of metal?" I asked.

"A moldering is a extremely rare type of creature found only in a jungle mine.
The Moldering is made from the type of metal you found the chest in. It takes the form of any type of animal you wish and can change form anytime.
Moldering are very powerful but can get very jealous of other moldering so its preferred that you have one per person.
It acts like any other tamed animal like how you can control it."
She finished.

"How do you know all this?" I asked her.

"Well because they are only found in jungle mines, we come across a egg or two every couple of years."
She said and a small puppy ran up to her, except the puppy is made from steel!

"That's a moldering?"
I asked.

She picked up the metal puppy. "Yeah, this is Felix" she said as she placed the puppy back on the ground.

"Now, for your reward!" She said as she walked us outside.

Waiting for us was around 30 beautiful horses with the same saddle as mine.

"We can only spare 30 horses, but I hope you like the gift." She said to me.

"Your giving us 30 horses!?" I asked in shock. I was expecting 30 or 40 gold coins but this is way better.

"Yes. I the queen of the the Nala elves hereby give you this gift of 30 Evelyn horse,may they run fast and serve your people well."

(Animals tamed: Elven Horse x 30)

"Thank you so much!" I said looking at my new horses.

"Well we better be off, people will be wondering where we have gone." I said to the queen.

"Of course! So do our people have an alliance?"
She asked me.

"Yeah sure" I said as I held out my hand.

"What are you doing?"
She asked me confused.

"Oh! This is how we made deals, we shake hands." I told her.

"In our culture to make a deal we have to kiss" she said with a smile.

A Kiss!

She walked right up to me and started kissing me.
I know this is a game and not real but seriously!! The kiss was amazing!

"Ahh....I can make a deal with you?" Said Reece once we finished.
