Chapter 3

As we walked through the field
I noticed large patches of hay everywhere.
I pulled out two throwing knives and handed one to Harry.
"What's this for?" He asked looking at the knife.

"We may as well collect as much hey as we can find. We can re plant it for the town or we can use it for food."
I told him and we began chopping the hey into bundles and placing them in our inventory.

Once again we were on our way.

-------20 minutes later --------

I looked at the scenery as we walked. Breath taking mountains in the distance, beautiful streams and valleys and the detailed animals flying over head or grazing in the fields.

That is before I kill them with a throwing knife.

I hadn't managed to hit a flying bird yet but any farm animal I saw Harry and I quickly killed it and took all of its loot.

"Give us all of your loot or I gut both of you."
Said the squeaky voice of a goblin.
A small group of about 5 had ambushed us and they managed to surround us.

Two wore old looking leather armor and each of them held low level iron weapons similar to the weapons we all got at the start of the game.

"This is your last chance! Give us your loot!" Screamed a goblin in leather armor and holding a small dagger.

Ahh! Screamed as 3 goblins were dead with knives sticking out of their head, within a second.

Harry stabbed the fourth one through its chest and the goblin that spoke started to run away.

Harry started to run after it. "Wait, I want to try something"
I said.

Next minute the bull charged past us headed straight towards the escaping goblin.

It trampled the poor goblin to death and then returned to us.
I smiled.
"Did you make the bull do that?!" Asked Harry.

I smiled.
"Yeah, we need to get you a pet" I said to him as I bent down to collect the dead goblins loot.

Harry and I both got old leather armor and a bunch of weapons.
It was terrible armor but it's better than nothing and I bet not that many players have better armor than this anyway.
We also got some rope and a few low level crafting materials like steel ingots and leather.

After walking for another, hour we reached a really nice spot to start a town.

It was a clearing inside a large forest, full of low level animals and creatures.
The clearing itself was quite big and we could see a lot of farm animals and crops already growing.

"This is a really good place!" Said Harry.
"Are we going to kill all the animals again?" He asked.

I laughed. " no, let's tame them and start on the first house, I don't like sleeping out in the open.
We also need a fence to stop other creatures attacking our cattle."
I said.

I got the bull to round up all the animals into the center of the field and I walked up to the first cow.
I pulled out my rope and tied it around the cows head.
After a couple of seconds it was tamed and I released it from the rope and started on the next animal.

---------30 minutes later --------

We had managed to tame every farm animal in the field and we ended up with
-45 cows
-22 sheep
- 18 pigs
- 4 horses.

I was really excited to see horses.
And I used the tamed animals like a wall surrounding the untamed animals so they can't escape.

It was getting dark so I decided to make a fire.
I had learned in Home World how to make a fire from two pieces of wood but Harry was able to make a tiny flame using mana.

I don't normally use mana, but I didn't become that strong in other games.

" ahh hey guys!" Said an unfamiliar voice.

Harry and I quickly stood up and equipping our weapons and I got the bull ready to attack.

"Woo! Calm down! I was just wondering if I could stay by your fire tonight? It was really cold last night?" A man around 18 walked out of the shadows with his hands raised.
He had similar armor to us and a small knife in his belt.

"Who are you?" I asked the man not lowering my guard.

"My names Reece, I come in peace and all that" he said.

I lowered my throwing arm and motioned for Harry to lower his spear.
But I kept the bull ready.

"Come sit!" I said.
And the man quickly rushed to the fire.

We started talking and found out that he started a few hours before us and he has been traveling by himself.
He uses mana as a weapon but has a knife for when he runs out.

"What can you do so far with mana?" I asked him.

"Well not that much. I'm level 11 and I've spent every single skill point on mana so my mana is fairly high. So far I can only control two elements. Wind and earth, but hopefully I can become a powerful elemental Mage."

Earth! An idea popped into my head.
"Would you like to join us?" I asked Reece.
Both Harry and Reece looked surprised.

"Umm yeah I guess. I don't know how I can be much help though."
He said with a laugh.

Building a town is going to be so much easier now! I thought to myself.

I commanded the farm animals to be our alarm, and to also keep an eye on Reece, he was now part of our group but we didn't know him.
