We walked slowly through the thick forest. Everyone had an eye out for attacks, not only from the snow elves we are looking for, but also from the snow Orks and the rebel guild.

No one really knew a lot about the snow elves, only a handful of people have come across them, and they didn't have much information on them when they respawned at beginners city to start there journey again after being killed.

And the only books We could find about them only say how dangerous and secretive they are, and also how they are technically the strongest type of elves, even deadlier then the Snorks as snorks only travel in small groups where no one knows how many elves there are, just how deadly they are to all.

The snow started to get thicker as we continued our search.
With 30% of my total army out searching for the snow elves.

A couple minutes ago I received news of an entire squadron being wiped out and the only clue to the attackers, were the ice arrows stuck into my men's body.

That's the thing! Home world and Worlds Best are different from the other virtual reality games around. In other games, some that I have played, when you die, you only loose a couple points.
Which makes this game so brutal and unforgiving when you die.
As you have to start from the very start!
Obviously there were the occasional rumors of exception  for example, I met a tall guy around 25 years old a couple weeks ago that if he is holding onto a charm he found, he can be revived if he dies, but only once a day.

I very much considered fighting him and taking it, but what sort of example would that set as a guild leader?
So I offered him a high ranking position in my guild but he respectfully denied my offer.

"Ahhh" screamed a guild member a couple meters in front of me, and the rest of the men rushed to see what was wrong.
Something was definitely wrong when I saw the blood covered I've arrow sticking all the way through the mans shoulder, straight through his armor!

"Defense!! Positions!"
I yelled, and a about 30-40 swords man, equipped a shield.
A shield wall surrounding me, wounded man  and the non shield wilding players was quickly made. It was perfect!
Exactly like i wanted them trained, and exactly like I saw it in the movies!

It was silent.. Apart from the chilly breeze that was giving everyone wind burn.

...

....
I decided to have a look to see if I could see the snow elves.

I quickly poked my head up from inside the fortified shield wall keeping everyone safe, but that was a bad move.
As soon as I did, the shield wall was under fire by long deadly ice arrows.
Not strong enough to penetrate the shields, buy enough to leave a dent in the shields and in my peoples moral.

"Vampire darkness" I whispered and my eye sight quickly turned slightly dark.
This is only the second time I've used this ability, since receiving it when I leveled up last week.

I created a beautiful long knife from my weapons ring. It was bright gold but u knew that no one else can see it as my vampire darkness spell makes me invisible.

I tired intangible and ran through the shield wall meant to protect me, into the Forrest.

I could see it! Most likely the only player that has gotten this close to a snow elf before.

There were around 15 snow elves in total, and with nearly 60 of my own people, we should be able to manage.

I quickly but silently ran up to a few of the elves who were busy creating and shooting Ice arrows at my people.
In quick precise strikes, I filled their necks with my blade and moved on before my invisibility wears off.

On a slight hill, I saw a much stronger looking snow elf.
With long grey hair like the other snow elfs but hundreds of strange metals hung on his black armor.

This was it, my shot to get them to listen to me, and hopefully join my attack on the rebel guild.

Two snow elves were standing behind the lead snow elf so I quickly and as quietly as I could, crept behind them.
A golden dagger to the throat later I was standing right behind the lead snow elf.

Just as I was about to capture him by putting my dagger to his throat, he quickly turned around, I've sword drawn, knocking my knives out of my hand.

My Invisibility wore off because he had discovered me and I was left standing with no weapons and a absolutely freezing sword at my neck.
