Chapter 32

We arrived just in time to see one of my guild members get ripped in half.

A large creature, it looked mostly human except it had horns and it's legs were really hairy.

The creature itself is the height of a building, and it held a tree like a club.

The rest of the party that found the boss were fighting the 30 or so creatures that looked exactly the same as the boss except they are the size of people.

I noticed that the creatures used wood magic because vines were tangling my men.

My party rushed into help the other party when a few more party's reached the battle.
At the moment we had about
20 guild members vs 25 goat creatures + boss.

"Archers, distract the boss, but keep your distance!" I screamed and about 20 nights men including the two girls from my party ran towards the boss, shooting it from different angles.

"Everyone else, destroy these creatures as fast as you can!" I yelled before charging into the battle.

The real problem wasn't the creatures hitting us with there clubs, the problem was that they were using wood magic to tie us up in vines.

But with a quick slash with my sword I easily cut through the vines and pushed my sword through the creatures chest.

After a few minutes all of the low level creatures were dead and my men were cutting each other out of any vines that they got trapped in.

Which gave me an idea on how to tame animals quicker than with rope.

I saw the boss kill a archer
"Dam!" I yelled.
"Alright!, I need people with long range weapons to fire at the creatures head, swordsman and spearman I need you to distract the creatures until we kill it with enough arrows!"
I yelled and everyone ran into place..

The creature used its hand and club to block the arrows and spells that were cast in it's face. The other two groups arrived looking a little beat up, then joined the fight.

Using my weapons ring I made hundreds of throwing knives and sent them all flying at the creatures head.

The sword and shield men attacked the creatures legs as it was busy with the arrows.

I ran up behind it and using two knives, I climbed up the creatures back, leaving large stab marks down its back.

I reached the creatures shoulders and I materialized a gold sword and pushed it into the creatures neck.

The creature spat out blood and fell to the ground with me still on top.

I heard all the guild members start cheering.

I opened the bosses inventory and grabbed everything, I jumped off the dead creature.
We had lost 3 men but gained one, so I didn't consider it a bad day.

"Let's head back home" I yelled to everyone and we all started walking back to jungle town.

Since I killed most of the guild, we haven't been getting many visitors.
Before we were getting a few hundred each day and a couple would stay, but now we only get about 100 people who would try to attack one of our men before getting slaughtered.

"What's all that smoke?" Asked David when we were nearly at jungle town.

I looked up and saw a huge stream of black smoke rising into the sky, sort of where jungle town is located.

"Everyone stay low and quiet!
If the town is being attacked, and we won't be able to defeat the attackers, than I don't want to engage the enemies!" I whisper yelled.

We quietly made our way to the edge of the clearing that the town mostly occupied.

The entire city was on fire.
And I mean even the stone wall!
Dead people littered the ground outside the town gate, and the metal door was ripped from its hinges.

From here I could only see a bit of the battle but I saw an enemy, on his shield was the symbol of The Titans Guild.

"Shit!!" I said to David.
"We need to help them, but we need the elves help if we want to win." I sad to the men close to me.

I told everyone to head back the way we came with a hand gesture.

Once we were far away enough that we couldn't be heard, my guild started yelling questions at me.

"You said we won't be attacked for more than a week!"

"We have lost all of our stuff!, what do we do now?"

"Who attacked us and why didn't we attack them!!"

"Quiet!" I yelled and everyone fell silent.

"The Titan Guild attacked us! Even if we had all of us at the town when they attacked, we wouldn't have been able to defend the town!"
It was now dark, the adrenaline was pumping through our blood.

"We need to make our way to the elven camp quickly and get there help, we will then join the battle for our town!" I yelled

And everyone started cheering, even though it was obvious that everyone was extremely worried that we might loose everything we have built.

"Let's go!" I yelled and everyone started jogging in the direction of the elven camp.
