Chapter 28

----------4 hours later-------

I looked at my new gear.. Well except for the invisible shield, I strapped the shield onto my back, covering my new black armor and clothes.

I put on the weapons ring and I imagined that I was holding a sword.
Then a golden sword materialized in my hand.
The sword was a bit heavy but I quickly got used to the weight.

I then ordered the sword away and it disappeared.

I placed the forever torches and the potions in my inventory and got some guild members to move the battle carriage down to the stables to have 4 horses fitted to the carriage.

The zombie guards were not like I thought they would be.
The picture in the gold exchange didn't show a good shot of the zombies faces and I thought they would be like the zombies from movies but instead these looked almost like normal human beings, except there eyes were going white, there teeth are rotten and their skin is very pale.

They spawned in the middle of town scaring a few guild members.
They all had good leather armor and iron weapons when they spawned, but I fitted them all out with steel armor with low level enchantments, and steel weapons.

I'm pretty sure it was random what type of zombie Spawned but I ended up with:
-25 swordsman
- 13 archers
- 10 spear men
-2 Summoners

I got Reece to place them around the town, including having the archers on the town walls and watch towers.

I'm sitting on a bench next to the blacksmiths shop.

I like it here, the sound of metal being shaped into weapons, the smell of the fires..

"Hey Ben!" Yelled Reece.
He walked up next to me and sat down.

"So.. What's the plan?" He asked me.

I had been thinking about this, so do I tell the guild that I'm a vampire?
Turn Reece?
Turn the guild!!?

"I want every single guild member to be at a guild meeting tonight."
I said to him as I stood up.
He also stood up and nodded his head.
I then pulled out a knife and cut a small wound on my arm.
"What are you doing!!!" Yelled Reece.

I grabbed his hand and Made a small cut.
"Blood on blood contact is the only way to become a vampire..

----------5 hours later-------

I looked around at the 150 or so guild members that had shown up to the meeting in the huge tower I live in.

"Hello, I would like to thank you for coming to this meeting, we are currently ranked number 1 on the guild leaderboard" the guild roared with shouts and applause.
I wanted a few more seconds until everyone was quiet.
"The number two guild, The Titans, have started building a castle an hours ride from the jungle.

If we are to stay number 1, then we must be able to defeat any and all who challenge us.!" I yelled and the guild roared to life again.

"Now... I have something to tell you all.
First I want to say that if you want to leave the guild, then no hard feelings, but promise me that you all will have an open mind.......

A couple days ago, guild master Harry was killed by a high level vampire.. Now I killed that vampire, but not before the vampire turned me..."
I could hear a few gasps and I saw some men place there hand on their sword handles.

"Now, vampires can buy blood on the gold exchange and that's what I have been doing.. I also noticed that when I turned, my stats went through the roof.
I'm telling you all this to ask if your ok with having a vampire as the guild master?
Believe me, I'm not always craving blood like in the movies.
If you wish to leave the guild, then no hard feelings"

People started shouting insults at me and a group of guys pulled out there swords.

"I am now a monster.... But maybe that's what it will take to be the worlds best?

Now I want everyone who wishes to leave the guild to go outside.
If you are fine with it and believe that it will help the guild, please stay inside.

About 40% of the guild all rushed outside..
Dam!! I was hoping for more to stay.

I looked at the 100 or so people that stayed. I saw the blacksmith, the old lady that works at the tailors and a few more people I've seen around.

"Thank you for making the right decision, to be the strongest, we can't be like everyone else.. Some of us must be more, more than human.!" I yelled and the people left over started to cheer.

"Now please wait a moment while I deal with the guild members that are leaving us." I said as I walked outside.

I was met with around 20 swordsman charging towards me weapons drawn.
"You filthy monster!" Yelled one of them.
