James Dance (game designer) POV:
"Are you ready sir?" Asked the camera man.

"Yes, go ahead" I told him.

"Just remember that hundreds of thousands of players will hear your voice, you need to be loud and clear so everyone can understand" he said to me as if he hadn't told me a thousand times already!

"I said go ahead" I said to him with a little annoyance in my voice.  

"And we are live in 3...2... "And then he pressed the button and the red light on the camera turned on.

"Hello players and gamers all over the world.
On behalf of Summer industries  I would like to thank you all for buying our new game Worlds Best..
I'm talking to you all today to tell you about the update that has already begun.
I know, you didn't get a notification or anything but this update has little to do with the game itself.
I know you must be confused but I would like to tell you about the new Gold Exchange System.

Now if you log into the Worlds Best website you will see the new Gold Exchange button where you will be shown a large list of items from weapons, armor and potions to ancient books, tamed animals and pets.

All items are brought with ingame gold if you wish you may now buy ingame gold for real money.

You may notice that so far the Gold exchange is only selling low grade weapons and armor at the moment... We'll that's because your a low level, the higher your level, the better and more expensive loot is available.

Once again we at summer industries would like to thank you for your purchase and hopefully I'll see you ingame sometime...."
"Cut!!" Yelled the camera man and he started taking apart the large camera.

"That was great, we have already made a lot of money from player buying gold. We should have done this in Home World!" Said my company partner.

"Good, we need all the money we can get if we want to make a world sized game in the future."

Bens POV:
i swear every single player all logged out of Worlds Best to check out the new Gold Exchange System.
And I was no exception.

I opened my eyes as I took off the Worlds Best headset and carefully placed it on my bed.

I turned on my laptop and logged into the website..
The website was a bit laggy because of all the players logging in at once.

Finally I found the new update and had a look at the short list of things to buy.

The cheapest was a couple gold and the most expensive item for sale was a set of brown armor that was 60 gold.

I really need to get a higher level! If I want to buy any good items.

The list is arranged in the type of item so I went through the weapons section and the potion section.

In the vehicle section was only a old  donkey but I don't need one since I have around 50 horses
I looked in the guild section but there wasn't anything for sale yet.

I was about to head back into Worlds Best when I remembered that we can buy gold with real money.
I wonder what the exchange rate is?

Like expected, it was pretty expensive. $1 for 5 copper coins, $5 for 1 silver coin,  $35 for one gold coin and $500 for a platinum coin.

I'm pretty sure that those didn't add up and someone could get a lot more ingame money for less money if they worked it out.

There is no use buying money, when it's easy enough to get gold from killing monsters plus we still have those platinum coins from the boss we killed.

I closed my laptop and had something to eat. I then had a shower before getting into bed and putting on the headset.....
