The amount of loot was ridicules.
If our inventories had space or weight limits then each of us would definitely have filled ours.
Like usual, I had my squad leave all of the high level and expensive loot in a pile for me, they keep everything else which isn't nothing because there was hundreds and hundreds of low level weapons and armor which sold would give them a hefty tip.
I healed myself as soon as the battle was over with a total health potion and only now do I realize that I should have used my spirit ability to become intangible. Whoops, that would have made that fight so much easier 😂
The Snork boss didn't have that much loot, but he did have a couple platinum coins that I couldn't refuse and some gems and precious metals that will definitely help fund my growing empire.
After we had looted the entire camp and I decided that we should start to head home, this was only going to be a day trip but by my estimate, I think it's nearly midnight and we are at least a couple hours away from home.
Of course I could fly home in a few minutes but I couldn't risk loosing any more from my squad. We have already lost a man today....-------3 hours later--------
Instead of going all the way back to castle night I ordered my squad to stay the night in jungle town, which should really change its name because as off a few days ago, jungle towns population and area technically turned into a city.
The second city in home world history, after beginners city.My armored zombie guards lined the walls, they let us through the large metal gates into a huge market place that was already streaming with activity, both human and elven this early in the morning.
Next to the tailors stood a huge, luxurious, 5 story building with a huge sign saying- Night Hotel
As I walked through the front door, I remembered this place as a tiny house back a couple months ago when Reece and I built this place.
The very same bar tender that I hired in that town meeting so long ago gave us rooms not charging us a thing.I ripped off my armor and tossed it in the floor.
I returned the armor that I borrowed from one of the swordsman after the battle and then took the dead squad members armor.
A dead mans armor is better than my old armor and certainly better than any of the pieces of junk the Snorks considered armor, it was there fighting style that made them so hard to kill, not there armor.I laid my head back and pulled the silk bedding over my body.
Aha I got the best room in the hotel. Building a city does have its perks.I closed my eyes and a notification popped up asking if I wanted to log out.
"Yes"
And I opened my eyes to the ceiling of my bedroom.--------20 minutes later-----
I sat on the steps to my apartment, overlooking the city below.
The Sydney harbor bridge in the distance, with its light lit up, just like every other building.
It was dark outside but the lights from the city made it feel like it was day.I felt my phone vibrate so I pulled it out of my black skinny jeans.
It was a notification, I had a couple of them. All news stories about Worlds Best.
There were a couple notifications because I follow pretty much every website and page about Worlds Best.
But these all have the same title.World Best 1M Prize
