Chapter 17

Olivia's Pov

Today was the day that I was going to meet all of Joe's friends and to be honest I was shitting myself. Thoughts kept going through my head saying What if they don't like me
What if I don't fit in
What if they think Joe deserves better

I knew I was being stupid and it wasn't a big deal but I tend to over think things. The only things that weren't stopping me from going was the fact that I didn't want to disappoint Joe and there was people that I knew were going like Zoe and Alfie and Caspar.

The party was at 7 and it was already half 5 so I decided to do get ready now. My had already had a shower from when I had got home from Joe's so I had let my hair dry naturally.

I wasn't sure weather the party was casual or dressy so I decided on wearing a pair of black jeans with a crop top and a cardigan. For my hair I decided to curl but in really tight curls and then for my makeup I just did my daily makeup but with heavier eye make up. Finally I threw on a pair of white converse and I was ready to go.

I unlocked my phone and opened up the app Twitter and scrolled down my timeline to see loads of tweets from Youtubers that I knew

Party at Joe and Caspar's house tonight. So excited man

I favourited lots of the tweets that I saw before decided I couldn't be bothered to scroll down any more so I locked my phone and walked up the stairs so I could go to Joe's. I decided against bringing my purse as what could I possibly need money for and if I did need money I would only have to come next door to get some.

I was only bringing my phone while ch I had in my back pocket. I opened up the door and walked down the hallway over to Joe and Caspar's. I knocked on the door and within seconds a cheery Caspar opened the door.

"Hi Olivia"
"Hey Caspar"

I replied as he pulled me into a hug. I looked over for Joe and when his eyes met mine he excused himself from the conversation and came over to me and kissed me. The kiss was only short but meaningful.

Joe guided me over to where the speakers were blasting out with music and he reached over and turned the volume down before shouting.

"Guys listen up"

By that point everyone's eyes was on Joe

"Ok this is my girlfriend Olivia please make her feel welcomed and loved"

There was a courses of Hi Olivia and as soon as Joe had finished speaking he turned back up the music and guided me over to the kitchen

"What would you like to drink my lady"
"Surprise me"

I said grinning. Joe handed me a drink and I took a sip trying to identify what the drink was. I wasn't exactly sure what the drink was but I could definitely tell it was some kind of alcohol.

Once I had swallowed my drink I felt someone drag me away from Joe. As we came to a stop I turned round to find out it was Zoe.

"So guys this is Olivia"
"Hi I'm Tanya"
"And I'm Niomi"

I smiled at them and tried to remember which one was which. Blonde Niomi and brown Tanya.

"So do you both have YouTube channels as well"

"Yep"
They both answered
"What about you"
Tanya asked me
"Me oh no I could never do something like that"

"Why not"
"I'm not really that confident in myself so"
"Uh well you should really consider it YouTube is one of the best things that has ever happened to me"
"I'll think about it"
