Chapter 40

Olivia's Pov

3 months later

It had been a while, time had flown by, our baby was growing and so was I. Joe's birthday had been and gone and it was amazing. We had a party in this massive hall with all his friends and it was so much fun. Joe had met my mum over FaceTime as she absolutely adored him which was great. But now I was meeting Joe's parent and to say least I was shitting myself. We were going down for a weekend to stay with his dad and on the last day we are there we are going to visit his mum. Joe had already told his parents that I was pregnant and weirdly they were thrilled. I am about 4 months along and my bump is beginning to show though it's not massively noticeable however hopefully in the next month or so we will be able to know the gender of the baby.

"Liv are you ready"

Joe shouted from upstairs

"2 seconds let me just grab my toothbrush from your bathroom"

I walked into Joe's bathroom and picked up the toothbrush that I had left on the side. I grabbed my phone and started to made my way upstairs. Before I started walking up the stairs I noticed Caspar's door slightly a jar. I knocked on the door and opened more so I could stand in the door way.

"I think we are just about to head off"

"Ok well have a great time"

"Thank you, you won't be alone for the whole weekend will you?"

"No I'll probably go hang out with the boys or something"

"Ok Caspar have a great time"

Caspar smiled

"Come on Liv we need to get going"

Joe shouted from upstairs again

"I'm coming!"

I shouted

"Bye Caspar"

"Bye Liv"

Caspar had been really down lately for some unknown reason. I had tried talking to him about it but he would just say he was fine. I know I'm not particularly close with Caspar but he is still one of my best friends and I love him (not in that way). Maybe he was just feeling lonely as Joe and I are nearly always together but when I come back I'll ask and I'll help him. I made my way upstairs. As I reached the top of the stairs Joe was sitting on the sofa scrolling through his phone

"I thought we needed to get going"

I smirked

"Oi shut up"

"Come on then"

I quickly popped my toothbrush into the front compartment of my big duffle bag for the weekend. I picked it up off of the floor to find Joe taking it off of me in a instance.

"Oi Joe I'm not that pregnant you know"

"We still need to be careful"

Joe smiled as him and I made his may out of the apartment to put the bags into the car. I shut the door behind us and followed Joe out of the complex. He placed our bags into the boot of his car before walking round to the drivers seat and getting in. Once we were all ready Joe started to drive.

"Have you noticed anything a bit off with Caspar lately"

"Yeah he's been very quite hasn't he"

"Do you know want could be wrong"

"I have no clue,, have you tried asking him"

"Yeah but he just avoids it he chnages the subject"
