Chapter 35

Olivia's Pov

Today I was going on my friendly date with Joe. He was picking me up at around 4 and said to dress casual. I was looking forward to it. I missed him and I was looking forward in spending time with him even if it was in a friendly way. The baby was doing great and I had my first ultrasound in 2 days. The problem was I didn't want to go on my own however I had no idea who to ask. At the moment it is between Zoe and Chai however if today goes well with Joe I might ask him as after all it is his baby whether he likes it or not.

Since Joe said to dress casual I decided on wearing a pair of black leggings and a grey knitted jumper. I wasn't going to wear any makeup today apart from a small amount of mascara just to more me look more awake. I was also wearing my glasses today as recently my contact lenses have been really itching my eyes so I need to go to the optician to check them out. As for my hair, I was looking to get my hair dyed and trimmed as recently it's been really annoying me. I had tied my hair up into a messy bun to get it out of my face.

Ding Dong

I'm guessing that was Joe so I pulled on a pair of trainers and grabbed my bag before heading up to open the door.

"Good afternoon Miss Bently"

"Afternoon Suggy"

I locked the door and started to walk next to Joe down the hall

"So what are we doing Sugg"

"You'll have to wait and see won't you"

"Fine"

"Come on you"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me over to where his car was. I climbed into the front seat whilst Joe walked round to the drivers seat. As Joe climbed into the car he passed me the cord so I could plug my phone in

"I'm leaving you in charge of the music Bently on one condition no Biebs ok"

"What he's a classic"

"I'll take the cord back then"

"No ok then no bibes , got it"

I plugged my phone in and scrolled through the songs on my phone trying to pick what one to choose. I played the song She is by Ben Rector and waited for Joe's reaction. I began to sing along however Joe had no response.

"Seriously you don't know this song "

"No never heard of it"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah"

"She is whatever she wants to be, she is a little of everything, mixed up, so tough in a beautiful way. She's got the world in her fingertips, she makes beauty looks effortless and I want everything she is she she is"

I turned to Joe to see him grinning at the road ahead.

"What are you grinning at"

"I just love seeing you happy"

I smiled. I did love him. I really did.

"Ok let me choose something else"

I scrolled back through my songs and found the perfect song for Joe. I pressed play and Joe turned towards me

"This is my favourite song"

"I know you told me"

The song way dancing on my own but it was covered by the Kings of Leon. We both started singing out hearts probably looking like right idiots from the outside of the car. Once the song was finished I replayed it again, and then again and then again until Joe said we had arrived. I unplugged my phone and put it into my bag and climbed out the car. We were in a park, a very beautiful park.
