Chapter 44

Joe's Pov

I had been out of the shower for around 30 minutes and I was sat on the bed waiting for Liv. To pass time I had been editing a video but now I was starting to get a bit worried as she had been gone for quite a while. I picked up my phone off of the duvet and started to dial her number. I called it and waited. All of a sudden her ringtone started ringing beside me. Great she hadn't brought her phone with her.

-1 hour later-

Liv still hadn't arrived back and to say I was worried was an understatement. Although I knew Liv didn't have her phone and was more of likely to have not gone down to Brighton I still decided to call Zoe.

"Hello"

I heard Zoe call down the phone

"Zoe hi"

"And what might you be calling for at quarter to 11 in the evening"

"You haven't heard from Liv have you"

"No I haven't why is something wrong"

"She went out to get milk"

"And"

"It was an hour and a half ago Zoe what should I do"

"Have you tried calling her"

"Of course"

I shouted down the phone

"Ok calm down Joe"

"I can't, what if somethings happened to her"

"Ok listen she will be fine call the police and file a missing person"

"What now"

"Wait a little bit longer and if she doesn't turn up call them"

"Ok"

"Phone me in a bit ok"

"Yeah"

"It will be alright Joe ok"

"Promise"

"I promise"

"Ok then bye"

"Bye"

I ended the call, Zoe had calmed me down a little bit there had got to be some reasonable explanation as to why she hasn't arrived home. Maybe she saved a women from dying or got caught up talking to a friend. I don't know but she had to be ok.

-Half hour later-

That was it, I was done waiting. I was calling the police.

"What service are you in need for press 1 for the ...."

I pressed 1 remembering that was the one and waited until a real person picked up the phone rather than an automatic service.

"Hello how can I help you"

"I would like to file a missing persons report!"

This is a shorter chapter because I just wanted to fill you kinda of in for Joe's point of view. However the chapter will be much longer next time xx
