Garrett

“Tell me about yourself.” I blurted out. I wanted to know more about Daemon. Is that a crime?

“Well I live on my own. I play all kinds of sports. I found out I was gay when I was 14. Chelsea and I have been friends since we were 6. I love it when a guy treats me right. If that bitch is an ass hole to me then his ass is out the door in seconds. Oh and I’m 19.”

“I promise I won’t hurt you.”

“That’s sweet. Now tell me about you.” He looked curious, really curious.

“I live on my own as well. I love country and pop and R&B and rap, but mainly Country. I suck at sports. I get hit in the face almost every time I play anything that involves a ball. I’ve never had a friend, ever. I try to make friends but no one ever likes me. I found out I was gay when I was like 15. I sort of just liked this guy. He didn’t like me back and the rest is history. I’ve never had a boyfriend. And I’m 19 as well.”

“Damn that sucks.”

“What does?”

“We don’t have the same favourite genre.”

“That’s what you cared about the most of what I said?”

“No I cared about everything I just noticed that first.”

“Oh well. What is your favourite genre?” I inquired.

“R&B,”

“OH MY GOSH,” I almost screamed. “I love R&B.”

“I love the genre so much.” He giggled.

“I can tell.”

“Yeah, why don’t you come over tonight? We can spend more time together”

“Sure, speaking of which. What time is it?”

“About 8,”

“We should get Chelsea and leave. It’s getting late.”

“Yeah you’re right.” We got up, and walked to Chelsea. She was in tears, staring at Aaron. But Aaron was replaced by a statue. It was kind of freaky. I wonder where Aaron went.

“Where’s Aaron?”

“This is Aaron.” She sniffled.

“What happened to him? What did you do?” I was now freaking out. How could this happen?

“I didn’t do anything. At least I think I didn’t.”

“When did it happen?”

“When we looked into each other’s eyes,”

“Then you did do it, but how?”

“How the fuck, am I supposed to know?” OK I’m officially freaked out. What the fuck had happened?

“OK guys calm down. There’s got to be a reasonable explanation for this,” Daemon said, trying to calm us down.

“HOW, Daemon?” I was now screaming. This is crazy. No wonder Chelsea’s screaming.

“I got to agree with him this once, Daemon,” Chelsea said still crying. “We got to get him out of here first. There’s got to be someone who can help.”

“Lucky for us I know a place.” Thank god for Daemon. He knows like every location in town.

“Our saviour,”

“Let’s go then,” Chelsea said perking up and grabbing Aaron.

The place Daemon brought us to an herb shop. I’ve never even been to this side of town before. Hell most of the places he’s taken us to I’ve never been to or heard of.  Oh well as long as we get Assho- I mean Aaron back to normal. Wait fuck. How are we supposed to explain it to him when he is back to normal? Fuck.

The herb shop was creepy. It was a little shack in the middle of the woods. Why would he bring us here? Why does he even know of this place? We walk into the shop and there were two people inside, a girl and a guy. The girl’s behind the counter, the guy talking to her from one of the shelves in the store.

The girl had short black hair. She was wearing a gorgeous vine green dress that went down to her knees. The dress was strapless. She had a crown made of twigs. She had on green heels with a strap that went all the way up her legs. She looked gorgeous. Why couldn’t Chelsea dress like her?

The guy on the other hand was wearing a tight black t-shirt that really showed off his abs. He wore black jeans that showed off his ass nicely as well. He had obviously dyed blue hair. And brown eyes. All in all, he was gorgeous. Ugh snap out of it Garrett. Look who’s right beside you, Daemon. He’s way more gorgeous than this dude. So, snap out of it. You don’t need him. The weird thing is he looks familiar. Though now I think I’m going crazy.

“Hello. May we help you?” The girl said with a huge smile on her face.

“Yeah, um bring him in Chels.” Daemon said to Chelsea. As she walks in, I thought the people would be freaked out. But they weren’t even fazed. I wonder why.

“As you can see our friend was turned to stone.” Daemon explained. “And we were wondering if you could help us.”

“I can bring him to the back.” The girl said. “Oh by the way, I’m Michie. And that’s Ken. He’ll be taking care of you two while this gentleman and I take care of this statue of a boy.” Great I have to spend time with Chelsea and this Ken, alone. While Michie and Daemon take care of Aaron. Why do we even need to cure him anyways?

“Hello. I’m Kenelm. But call me Ken.” Ken said. What kind of a name is Kenelm? “Wait a minute I know that face. You’re Garrett right? I went to high school with you.”

What the hell? Someone actually knows me? But I tried to make sure no one knew me. I just sat in the back of the room reading. How is it possible? I spent all four years trying to make sure no one remembered me. Screw this Kenelm dude. I don’t even remember him. How the hell did he remember me? What the shit?

“Dude you okay?” Kenelm asked me. “Your face is red.”

“I’m fine.” I lie.

“You don’t look it.” Chelsea said. “Are you missing Daemon already? I could get him if you want.”

“Don’t even move a muscle, unless you want to die,” I threatened.

“Oooo I’m so scared.” Chelsea said sarcastically. “But seriously what are you freaking out about?”

“How do you know me?” I blurted out.

“Like I said we went to high school together. “I remember you always read a book in the back of the classroom. I always wondered why. But every time I tried to ask you just avoided me. I thought you were just shy. Though I doubt that’s why. So why is it? Why did you avoid me?”

“I-I can’t say,” There was no way. No way was I telling Chelsea or Kenelm. There is no way in hell I’ll tell anyone. Daemon can’t know. Neither can Chelsea. Fuck no one can. If they did they would think I was crazy. No one can know I’m afraid.
