We darted around Clay and reached Daemon in no time. I was not going to fool around. I need to save him. The water was rising too fast. I couldn’t let him die.

“Chelsea we got to smash the glass!!!” I commanded her.

“But what if the glass hits him?” She said cautiously. “I don’t want to kill him.”

“If we don’t take a risk he’s going to die anyways.” I shifted into a hammer. “Get ready. We need to do it now.”

“But I don’t want to kill him.” A tear rolled down her face. Yes I can see. I put eyes on this time so I could monitor the time.

“Please Chelsea.”

“Fine,” She picked me up and drove my head into the glass, shattering it, the water gushing everywhere, soaking our clothes and hair. Daemon dropped out as well. And fell on top of Chelsea and I. Knocking us off our feet. It kind of hurt. After that I lifted him up and carried him bridal style out of the building. I wanted to get him out so we didn't need to deal with Clay. There was no way I could fight him when I have Daemon in my arms.

"So what are we going to do now?" Chelsea asked me.

"I'm going to revive him. And you'll find a weapon and help Michie and Ken." I commanded. I felt for doing it though.

"Alright, I'll get something from Ken's trunk." She turned around once and then turned again. "Uh Garrett?"

"Yeah?"

"Um never mind, it's not important." She turned again and headed to Ken's truck. She grabbed a shot gun and left to go back inside the building. After that I turned back to Daemon, and brought my lips to Daemon's.

Our lips touched... his lips were the softest thing I've ever felt. I was on cloud nine. It probably would have been better if he wasn't sleeping, but it was still fucking awesome. I’m so happy that I finally got to kiss him. But this battle isn’t over just yet. We still need to kill Clay. Though hopefully Ken has it down. Oh and Michie of course. I don’t care who does it. I just want him dead.

After I finished my thoughts, I pulled back. I looked away for a split second. And when I looked back Daemon was staring right back at me, with his deep green eyes. I almost died right there. I was so happy to see him awake again.

Ken

After Garrett and Chelsea ran off, we started talking with Clay. No not talking. More like confronting him. Michie and I wanted to get to the bottom of this. And we didn’t care how we did it, even if it meant having to kill him.

“I just don’t see why you did this. Who put you up to it, Valli, Chaoran, or Angelica?” Michie questioned him.

“It was my best friend, otherwise known as Angelica. She asked me to do it because she was under Chaoran’s control. She was asked to trick Daemon and Garrett. Well really all of you. And it worked, until Chaoran went behind our backs and told Garrett everything. That bitch!” He spat out the last part. He must really have it in for Chaoran. But then again, who doesn’t?

“So you did it just because you were told to by Angelica? Why? What was the point in tricking us? Was there even a point?” I shot back at him.

“You wouldn’t know. You weren’t there. Angelica only did it because she was bored and alone. She has no one, except me. So when Chaoran asked her to do it she jumped at the chance. Wouldn’t you, if you had no friends? And had nothing better to do?” He grinned. Those sentences brought him joy? How sick is he?

“I do know. I’ve been through that. Ken helped me. So did my other friend. She’s just a whiny bitch. You and she should be put in your places, before I do it for you!!!” Michie threatened him. I forgot about that. I forgot about helping her But who was her other friend? I don’t remember anyone else.

“Well boohoo. Let’s just cut the chit chat now. I’m ready to fight you. I’m ready to kill you. And I won’t hold back. And I expect you two won’t either.” He grabbed something from the ground. I couldn’t make out what it was. But I didn’t have time to find out. He was dashing towards us. I still couldn’t see what it was. It looked silver. As if it was a sword.

“Michie get out of the way.” I commanded her. But she didn’t listen. He knocked her off her feet. I dodged him. I wanted to see if she was alright but I couldn’t get to her while Clay was there.

She was on the ground. Clay jumped on top of her, pinning her down. The sword he held looked smaller, as if it was a pocket knife. That’s it!!! It’s an illusion. He’s tricking us into thinking he’s armed. I need to warn Michie, but how? I can’t exactly waltz over to her while he’s on top of her.

“Awe what a nice girl you are. You’re not struggling at all. I like that.” He grinned and held her arms down. No wonder she wasn’t struggling.

“You ass hole, I will not surrender. I’m going to die here. I don’t need to struggle to escape either.”

“You little pest, I can kill you right here. And I won’t think twice about it.” He brought the fake knife close to her throat.

“Bring it. I know what you’re doing. You’re trying to scare me. If you really wanted to scare me. You should use a real knife instead of you’re stupid illusions!!!” Good. She figured it out. It would suck if she didn’t know.

“How did you know?” He looked stunned.

“I’m not an idiot. You got it out of nowhere. And you were running at us with a sword. But as soon as you were on top of me you had a knife? How stupid do you think I am?” She glared at him. Then she looked over at me. But I avoided her gaze. She knew I thought she didn’t know about the illusion. I don’t know how but she did.

I don’t know if she’ll be able to get away. And I don’t want to risk my life saving her. I don’t want her to die like this. It would suck. I was going to scream but I heard a bang. And Clay was off of Michie now. In fact he was dead. The bang was a gunshot. Clay was dead now. I looked over at the entrance to see who it was. I was shocked to see it was a little blonde girl, a very familiar blonde girl.
