I walked out of the building and got into Michie’s car, because I like Michie the most, and because Chelsea took Daemon in her car, and Valli and Aaron wanted to be by themselves. Which is totally unfair, I wanted to be in a car alone with Daemon, but would they let me? No, because we didn’t bring a car here. So, I was stuck with Michie.

“Did Chaoran visit you earlier today?” I asked her, trying to make conversation.

“Yes, and she told me some upsetting news.”

        “What did she say?”

“She said, Eclipse is working for her now, and I broke up with him because of it.” She wiped her eyes.

“Michie, it’s okay. You don’t cry. If he really loved you, he wouldn’t have done it.”

“But he lied about it too. He said he wasn’t even though she came by and said he was.”

“Well fuck them. They don’t mean anything. It’s only Chelsea, Daemon, Valli, Aaron, you and I that matter now. And maybe Kate, I’m not sure about her right now.” I said.

“Thanks, Garrett that cheered me up a little. So what are you going to order when you get there?” She asked me.

“A green tea, and some food because I’m starving,” I heard my stomach growl.

“I can tell.” She laughed. “I’m getting a coffee.”

“You’re not getting anything to eat?” I asked.

“I may after; I’m not sure right now.” She said. We continued talking about random things as she drove and I just sat there.

Michie parked in the parking lot, and we got out and met up with the others. I noticed Kate wasn’t there, though I didn’t really expect her to come.

“Why didn’t Kate come?” Michie asked Valli.

“She didn’t want to, and she isn’t allowed in this place. Only super naturals are. She’s a human.”

“She’s human? She doesn’t look it, or act it. She’s stronger.” Chelsea said.

“I agree, now is everyone ready to eat?” Valli asked us. We all nodded, and Chelsea’s stomach growled and we all burst out laughing as we walked over to the entrance.

We all ordered what we wanted, and got comfortable. It was weird being here again. I mean we haven’t been here in a long time. I think the last time we were here was two weeks ago. Though I’m pretty sure it was longer. I kind of lost track of our time together because it’s been a long time.

“Garrett, it would be nice if you joined our conversation.” Valli said. I turned to face her and also noticed that our orders had arrived.

“Sorry, I was thinking about something.” I told her.

“Clearly, anyways we were thinking of having a party.” Valli said, and honestly I didn’t want to have a party. It always ended up with people having sex and drinking and passing out and no one remembering anything in the morning.

“Are you sure? I mean there are better things to do.” I said. I really wasn’t in the mood.

“Oh come on Garrett stop being a party pooper.” Valli said, and it made me miss the old Chelsea. This is what she would’ve said if she wasn’t depressed.
