Chapter 14: Check Up

I walked over to Daemon's house. Jeez if I thought walking to Michie's house, from Ken's was long. Obviously I haven't walked from Michie's to Daemon's. And it doesn't help that I had to walk at night/early in the morning. I didn't want to do this, but I'm worried about him. I turned onto his street when someone whistled at me. I tried to ignore it but they wouldn't go away. I kept walking but they went in front of me.

"Hey there, pretty boy." The person, who I could now see was a girl, said to me.

"What do you want? And why are you bothering me?" I asked her.

"Well I saw you and you looked pretty handsome, so I wanted to talk to you," I could now tell she was drunk.

"Well I'm already seeing someone. And I was just about to go to their house."

"Awe, don't be like that, Hun," She stumbled as she approached me.

"Look I'm not interested," I backed up a little.

"Stop it. I know you are, I can see you looking at me," I was looking at the ground not her, she was obviously really drunk.

"Look I don't like..."

"Don't like what?"

"You, Girls," I told her. And as I did I broke into a run. I tried to get around her but she stopped me. But she didn't touch me. How did she do that? I started to run again. But I was held in place. I couldn't run. What is she doing to me?

"Shocked?" She looked at me. "I thought so, now I know who you are. And I know you know who I am. I'm a goddess. And my son lives in that house. You know the one you were headed to? Yeah that one, I'm Chaoran, your master. You can't do anything without me knowing. And I know you saw my daughter. And she tried to kill Daemon. But now Daemon's passed out. And you also saw Angelica. One of my servants. She was hired to lie to you guys. She hired Clay Munroe to help her. I saw him, carrying Daemon out of the house. And I know you were headed to kill Clay today. But you don't know where he's going to be. And I'm willing to tell you. But you need to make me a deal. Now I'm going to let you go only if you agree to make me a deal."

"If you want," I mumbled. She let me go and I turned to face her.

"Now the deal is I want you to not see Daemon anymore. And I want you not to kill Clay. Besides if you do Kenelm Munroe -Chelsea's obvious future boyfriend- won't talk to you again. And I need him. And another thing, if you kill him then Daemon will never wake up,"

"But you told me that Angelica lied to us. What did she lie about?"

"About whom Daemon's true love is. And for that specific reason I don't want you seeing him."

"What are you talking about?"

"Do I have to spell it out for you?"

"Yes, please."

"Clay's not his true love, you are. But you can't see him. If you disobey me then the sentence is death."

"You don't want him to be woken up?"

"Why would I? He's better like this. It keeps him quiet."

"Now what's your part of the deal?"

"What do you mean?"

"You asked me for a deal. Now what are you going to give me?"

"Ah that. I'm going to give you something."

"And what is it?"

"Well bring your friends and we'll see."

"You really are a bitch!" I yelled at her.
