I arrived at Michie’s house. After a very long drive, I had lost a lot of blood and I couldn’t think straight. I barely remember the events of what happened at Daemon’s house. I only remember being cut by Clay, that huge ass hole. How dare he do that to us all? Garrett better fill me in on what happened, because I forget the whole shebang.
I knocked on her door, and waited for an answer. She took a while, but she opened the door after a few minutes.
“Hello,” She said after opening the door.
“Hey, I need help,” I said.
“What is it?” She inquired.
“I’ve lost a lot of blood and I need you to heal me.” I didn’t feel the need to recap her yet.
“Oh, come on in then,” She smiled warmly. I stepped into her house and wasn’t surprised by the insides.
Her house had painted green walls, green furniture, green everything.
“You really like green, don’t you?” I joked.
“Yeah, so I would offer you something to eat or drink but we should heal you first.”
“Yeah, so where do you want me to sit?”
“Right over there,” She gestured to a green painted wooden chair. “It’s where I perform most rituals and healing ceremonies.”
I walked to the chair and sat down. I didn’t want to complicate things. Not when I could easily bleed to death. I waited patiently for Michie to come over and start. I just wanted to get it over with. I haven’t been around a girl in a while. I mean just a girl. We could talk about girl things together. I’m tired of doing it with Garrett.
“Alright so where’s the wound?”
“Seriously?”
“What?”
“Can you not see the gaping hole with blood coming from it?”
“No?”
“You’re kidding right?”
“No.” That’s when I looked at my arm and she was right. There was nothing there.
“What happened?”
“Who made this alleged cut?”
“Clay.”
“Wait a minute.”
“What?”
“I knew I heard his name before.”
“Who is he?”
“He’s Ken’s cousin.”
“No.”
“Yes”
“This can’t be.”
“I’m sorry.”
“You’re lying.”
“I wish I was.”
“Why does he have to be related to that... that ass?”
“I’m so sorry. He doesn’t like talking about it, for obvious reasons.”
“But I love him. And I hate him.”
“Wait you what?”
“Yes I said it. I love Ken. I loved him from the moment I saw him. I loved his mysteriousness. I loved his personality. I loved his deep brown eyes. And I loved his blue hair. He was gorgeous.”
