I would have loved this little walk, if it was Daemon and I alone. But we had to have Valli with us. And honestly it sucks. If I thought she was bad in the car, obviously I have never been on a walk with her.
She kept humming to herself, and was just being plain annoying. I feel like I said that before. Well thought it. But still. It applies here too. I don’t even think we had been walking for 5 minutes. Man that’s a record for someone to annoy me. Chelsea had that record previously. Actually that’s a lie, my parents had it. They had annoyed me 20 minutes after I was born. Chelsea had a whole half hour. Man why am I keeping track of this.
“So Valli...” I started.
“What is it, Garrett?” She looked at me angrily.
“Can’t I make conversation?”
“Sure.”
“Now I don’t feel like it.” I crossed my arms.
“You’re such a baby.”
“Yeah but he’s my baby.” Daemon grabbed my hand.
“That’s gross, stop showing affection.” Valli complained. Daemon and I looked at each other, and decided to kick it up a notch. We kissed each other. And basically did whatever it took to make her completely disgusted.
“You guys can stop now.” She sounded nauseated.
“Where’s the fun in that?”
“You suck, Garrett.”
“Valli I don’t like to reveal that information.” I joked.
“Too much information,”
“Really because I thought it was very valuable information.”
“You guys are disgusting.” And with that we didn’t talk at all the rest of the walk down the corridor. The walls here were quite boring. They were just grey stones blocks. No suits of armour or anything like that. Man Chaoran should take a lesson in decorating. You know she’s bad at being a villain. Clay and Aaron, and Angelica, and even Valli are/were better villains. And that’s kind of sad.
The hall seemed like it went on forever. It just never seemed to end. I think we had been walking for like 20 minutes. And we hadn’t seen a door or a dead end. What the fuck Chaoran?
I wonder how Michie and Ken are doing. Have they found anything yet? I really hope not. I want us to be the first ones to find something. It would so unfair if their hall was shorter anyways.
Michie
We had been walking for 20 minutes and we finally reached a door. It was a pretty big door at that. It was the kind you see at the front of mansions. You know the front doors. Actually scratch that this one was way bigger. It was taller than both Ken and I combined.
I’m surprised I hadn’t broken a heel or ripped my dress, with all the walking I’ve been doing. But I’m not complaining. That would be a huge inconvenience, mainly because I didn’t bring an extra pair of boots with us, in my car or on the walk. And there was no way in hell I was driving for 2 hours to go home and then come back.
Neither Ken nor I wanted to push the door open. We were too afraid to see what might be on the other side. Well I know I was, I’m not too sure about Ken. I think he just didn’t want to see Chelsea on the other side. So instead of one of us individually opening the door, I counted to three and we both pushed the door open.
On the other side stood something I don’t think either of us expected. I saw a head full of bleach blonde hair, and below that head the body was wearing a red tank top with blue jean short shorts. The same thing she was wearing when she left us to go confront Angelica, and across from her were two bodies, Chaoran and Aaron. Chaoran was sitting on a throne, her dirty blonde hair sitting there, looking dead. She was wearing a black gown. And Aaron was just sitting there, looking stupid.
“Ah I see we have more guests.” Chaoran called from her seat. Chelsea turned around and saw Ken and I standing in the doorway.
“What are you two doing here?” She asked.
“We came to save you, and Eclipse. Speaking of which, where is he, Chaoran?” I called to her.
“You mean that boy.” She pointed to the wall on our right. And that’s when I saw him. I wanted to run to him but I was afraid. It might have been a trap. And I didn’t want to get caught.
“Let him go.” I tried to keep calm.
“That’s not going to happen. He’s mine now. And he will be for a long time.”
“Michie, don’t listen to her. She’s just trying to get in your head. She wants you all to get back at Garrett and Daemon,” Eclipse sounded weak, like he was being starved, or even worse.
“You weren’t supposed to say anything! Don’t make me hurt you again.” She yelled at him.
“Don’t you lay a finger on him!”
“Or what?”
“Or I’ll cut you into tiny little pieces.” Ken barged in. And I’m glad he did. I didn’t know what to say next.
“You can’t scare me. Nothing can.”
“That’s a lie. Everyone has a fear. It’s just some peoples are less obvious. And some people’s they don’t know about until they’re old a wrinkly just like you,” Chelsea insulted her. And I got to say I wanted to laugh. But I was afraid that if I did something would happen to me or Eclipse.
“That’s it little girl. I’m done with you.” She threw a knife at her. I couldn’t watch, so I turned away. I just couldn’t watch someone being killed, especially not my friend. But I didn’t hear a girly scream. Actually that’s a lie. I did but it definitely didn’t come from Chelsea. I looked back and saw what had happened.
When I looked I saw Chelsea holding someone. That someone was obviously dead. That person was my best friend. Chaoran just killed Ken. And there was nothing any of us could have done to stop it. He was dead. And even though I wanted to say I was the most hardly impacted, I wasn’t. Chelsea took that role. And I’m glad. I just didn’t want to cry yet
