I was tired of waiting for Garrett to wake up. He had been asleep for a good 2 days. What could be wrong with him? But honestly I didn’t care. I had cried my eyes out while he was out. I couldn’t help myself. Chaoran had killed him, but he saved me. He jumped in front of me so I wouldn’t die. I think that was Chaoran’s plan. She didn’t actually want to kill me she just threw the knife because she knew Ken would save me. What an idiot.

If someone had to die, I wish it would’ve been me. He wouldn’t have done this. He’s stronger than that. Well he was stronger. Now I’ll never know. I don’t think I’ll ever get out of this rut. But I’m fine.

I went to my bed and sat down. Then I crawled into a ball and started balling my eyes out. I’m not fine. I’ll never be fine. But I’ll pretend, or not. I don’t care what people think. I then cried myself to sleep, and had horrible dreams. Dreams where Ken died many ways, and in each one I was left alone.

Garrett has been sleeping in my living room, for about 2 days. Though by the looks of him he doesn’t look like he noticed he was sleeping for that long. I was about to wake him up, or do something to help him wake up, but my phone started to ring. I went to pick it up from the coffee table, and almost didn’t pick it up because I saw who it was: Daemon. He had been calling every day to make sure Garrett was alright, and if he was awake yet. It was quite annoying.

“What is it Daemon?” I said when I answered the phone.

“Is he awake yet?” He asked.

“No, Daemon. You just called an hour ago, give him time.” I told him. He had called every hour of today. I told him to stop calling so frequently yesterday because he kept calling me every 5 minutes. I can’t wait to see both of our cell phone bills.

“Just tell me when he is awake.” He said, and was about to hang up when I stopped him.

“Just come over, you can wait here until he wakes up.” I told him. If I didn’t, he would’ve called me every day. And I don’t have enough money to pay that phone bill. I hate Daemon sometimes.

“So, I’ll be there soon.” He hung up after that. I sat in my living room reading a book once he hung up. There wasn’t much to do once we left Chaoran’s place. Chaoran was giving us time. I knew she would strike soon, but what she was going to do was a mystery.

I heard my doorbell ring twenty minutes later. I got up to answer it and saw Daemon. He smiled and walked into my house. I didn’t really want to spend however long it was until Garrett woke up with Daemon. But I had no choice. It was either have him keep calling me or let him stay here. And I don’t want my phone bill to be any longer than it already is.

“Hey Michie, is he awake yet?” He asked, and I seriously wanted to punch him. He’s needier than Garrett was when Daemon was in his comatose.

“No, Daemon. Just be patient. He was when you were passed out. So, please can’t you wait?” I asked him. And honestly I don’t think he’s capable of being patient.

“I’m sorry; it’s just there’s nothing to do. Chaoran dismissed us. So, now it’s getting boring not having to deal with Valli or Chaoran. I want something to happen.” He said, and even though I agreed, I wasn’t going to say it.

“You know what? I hope he wakes up soon.” I said. “I just want you to shut up.” Then I heard a stir from the floor where he was lying. I walked out of the room so they could catch up. I grabbed a pop and sat at my dining table.
