Shauna typed away, updating her files to catch up. Her shift ended hours ago but she wouldn't stay too long. Deciding to print a few things to take home with her, she noticed she was out of printer paper.

Walking to the hospital's storage room, she stopped in her tracks, hearing a conversation going on in the break room.

"So you switched them?" One nurse spoke.

"Yep. Real ones are right here. That dumb little intern isn't about to make me look stupid." Marie's voice caused Shauna to shake her head.

"But this is illegal."

"I'm the department head. Who is going to find out? Only you know now. Besides, it will be hidden away under my desk."

Once it grew quiet, Shauna quickly hurried down the hall back to her seat, typing away as Marie and the nurse made their way to the elevator.

"Still here?" Marie asked. Shauna raised an eyebrow, nodding.

"Ok. Be careful." The other nurse spoke as they entered the elevator.

Briana bit her bottom lip, fighting the urge to be nosey. Ofcourse, her fight didn't last long as she walked down the hall, near Marie's desk. She kneeled down, searching all the files that sat on top.

"Nothing." She whispered, resting her hands on her hips. She looked down as saw a locked drawer. Kneeling down, she grabbed a bobby pin out of her hair, opening it to pick the lock.
After a few tries, she got it open, going through the files.

Everything seemed in place except for one file, Elijah's.

Grabbing it, Briana read through it, placing her hand over her mouth as she gasped.

Milan Anderson

Waking up, I stretched a little, yawning. I looked around the small living room, remembering where I was.

Elijah walked past, completely ignoring me and going up the stairs. I sighed, grabbing my purse and searching for mouth wash.

Remembering about the horrible kiss i received from that stranger, I rinsed my mouth for now, but would definitely be brushing them later.

Looking at the clock, I gasp, pulling at my hair.

"I-I have work today!" I yelled, groaning.

No way was I going to be able to drive back home to shower and get ready.

"You ca' get ready here." He came back downstairs.

"Now you're talking to me?" I cross my arms, rolling my eyes.

"You in my house Milan.... Don't get kicked out."

I laughed a little and watched as he coughed. "Bathroom is second door on the left. Towels and stuff are in the small closet."

I nodded, becoming grateful for the extra pair of scrubs I always had in my bag.

I found the bathroom, locking the door and staring at myself in the mirror.

"How did you end up here Milan? In a strange man's home."

He may be strange, but he is good looking.
