July 13th, 2017 - later that night
Baltimore, Maryland

"Baby I'm fine I promise. I can handle my parents." Milan reassured Elijah for the 10th time.

"Aight, Ima be here chilling when you get back. Corey may pull up." He coughed a little and laid back on the headboard, flipping through channels.

Milan leaned down to peck his lips softly, smiling afterwards. "Alright, I'll be back." She grabbed her purse and phone before closing her room door and meeting Arima in the living room.

"Ready?" Arima asked, looking as nervous as Milan.

"Yeah." She whispered back as they walked out together to join Mallory who was waiting in the car.

The ride to the house seemed quicker than normal. Once arriving, Milan knocked, always feeling like it was rude to just walk in.
Mason opened the door, smiling lightly at the three of them. Mallory had been quiet the whole night, but that's because she knew pretty soon she was gonna have some explaining to do.
