TOM KAULITZ

This year has been crazy

This year has been crazy. Many great things happened but so did a lot of terrible and scary things. Bonnie receiving death threats were one of the terrible things. The band having to talk down fans who wanted to kill themselves over my relationship was mind-blowing frightening. I know our fans love us but I never would have thought they would threaten to hurt someone we loved or themselves. It's all fucking madness.

I am in love. Something I thought I would never experience, let alone say aloud and declare. But, yes; I am in love.

Bonnie makes me very happy. This year showed me that I was capable of loving someone. Me, Tom Kaulitz, was capable of feeling something more than a body part. We had an amazing connection that made me never want to leave her. I also learned that she is very "motherly". Not in the "Do this, Do that" mother manner but motherly in being so warm and caring. She always wants to do something for Bill or me. She wants to take care of me and ask me what I need or how she could help. Do not get me wrong, she is still feisty and very independent; we had a huge argument once where she told me "I don't fucking need you, remember that. I am with you because I love you and your money means nothing to me".

We had great sex after that. I think my back was sore for a few days from the scratches.

Bill loves her as well which is very important to me. I've watched them and spoke with Bill in private about her and although I love her, if my brother doesn't like her I couldn't be with her. It sounds crazy but it is that simple. I love my brother more than life itself. He is I and I am he. We are the same man in a sense so making any decision that he does not agree with or he is not comfortable with is doing what is wrong for me. Thankfully, they get along great. So much so that I joke, she prefers Bill to me. They are the great friends and I would not have it any other way.

We took five months off and now we are starting on a new album. I am in our studio almost all day every day working and honing our sound. I want this album to be perfect! I've had studio time with the band and played them what I had; so far they love it all and we've made small tweaks and adjustments here and there. The album will come out in a few short months and after that, photo-shoots, press, then finally touring. This will be the first time that I am away from Bonnie for an extended period and I know I will miss her.

I do love touring though; the traveling, interviews, and playing our songs and seeing the joy it brings on our fans faces. The last time I went on tour with a girlfriend I came back without one. She was alone while I was away and did not want to fly out to see me for a few days then leave. She blamed me for her unhappiness and hoped she could change me. I have talked to Bonnie about this; the months touring, girls cramming to get to us, not always being able to fly back when she wants me to. She said she understands and only time will tell. I promised to be faithful to her however hard that may be for me. I love women and they love me, but I promised to be with only her.

I woke up to the smell of bacon and butter. I slid off the gigantic cream covered bed and threw on a shirt, heading towards the bedroom door. Nicky, my dog, laid on the plush shag-rug and I leaned down to pet and rub his belly. He twirled and twisted on his back, paws in the air welcoming and enjoying the love. I walked out the bedroom onto the tan hardwood floors towards the kitchen. Bill sat at the marbled kitchen island wearing a white button up pajama shirt and ash grey sweatpants. His short blonde hair bounced as he laughed at what Bonnie was saying. Bonnie was standing at the stove laughing with a frying pan in one hand and a spatula in another. She had on a tiny baby-blue silk slip that barely came to her thighs. Her hair, which she cut a few months ago, was tousled about her head. I watched them for a second longer laughing and carrying on. I watched as my brother eyed Bonnie's exposed thighs as she turned to get orange juice out of the fridge.

"Hallo" Bill said as I made my presence known.

"Hallo" I replied.

"Hi baby!" Bonnie said placing pancakes on a plate.

She turned to me and stood on her tippy-toes to kiss me. I wrapped both arms around her warm body and kissed her. She tilt her head back in laughter as I groped her tighter and tighter around her waist.

"Tom! Ow!" she laughed. I let her go and smacked her ass as she turned away from me. Her ass bounced and she flew her head around at me displaying a smile.

"What's so funny?" I asked sliding my plate over in front of my chair.

We had a huge beautiful home. This new place was quite the change from Bill and I previous house in the hills. That house was the playhouse; modern, yet art deco styled. I couldn't imagine having Bonnie live in that house with all the secrets those walls kept.

"Oh, just stuff." Bill said stuffing fruit covered pancakes in his mouth.

"What kind of stuff?" I asked.

Bonnie and Bill looked at each other across the island and immediately burst into laughter. I was clueless and began to laugh at the two of them uncontrollably laughing.

"Oh, it's just something about Georg. I can't say." Bonnie laughed waving her hands and shaking her head.

"What about him?" I continued to laugh at Bill who almost choked on his pancake. "Is it really that funny?"

Bill leaned back so far laughing that he almost fell off his stool. Once he had his laughter under control, he finally began to speak.

"Well, our dear Georg has found himself in a bit of a dilemma with Natalie this morning." Bonnie and Bill started laughing again and I sat now eager to know what happened with Georg and Natalie.

"Well" Bill started. "Georg and Natalie were you know, fucking, when HIS MOM came in and saw them! OH MY GOD! IT'S JUST ALL SO HYSTERICAL!" Bill and I burst into laughter.

"WHAT! So, what did they do? What happened next?" I asked.

Tears were dripping from Bill's eyes as he and Bonnie continued to laugh.

"Well when I asked Nat she said Georg's mom dropped her purse and ran back out the door!" Bonnie laughed. "Oh my god, I can't, my stomach hurts!" Bonnie  screamed.

We continued to eat our breakfast in between laughs and I could only picture the horror on Georg face when he saw his mom's horror.

"One day you will stop eating meat" I said looking to Bonnie .

She picked two pieces of bacon and began to eat them slowly; eyes squinted murmuring "MMMM".

Bill and I looked at her smiling in disgust as bacon grease ran from her mouth to her chin. She got up, took her empty plate to the sink, and turned out to leave. She looked over her shoulder at Bill and I sitting there both simultaneously reaching and asking for a cigarette. She let out a short sarcastic laugh at us. Her round ass made her baby-blue slip rise even higher in the back. I admired her beautiful curvy figure and for a moment, I wondered if Bill was also admiring her too. I mean, if she reached, her whole ass would be in view of anyone looking. On many occasions I've seen Bill look at Bonnie in a way that is not exactly brotherly; a way he never looked at Ria. Bill was my devoted brother and best friend; but any man would have to be a fool to not find Bonnie impeccably attractive.

"Please don't smoke inside." She said disappearing from the door frame leaving Bill and I alone. I waited for our bedroom door to shut then sparked my Camel cigarette. I leaned back in my chair; blowing smoke into the warm buttery air. Bill looked at me as if I committed a crime. We locked eyes for a moment and a huge smile crossed my brother's face.

"Fuck it!" he said as he leaned towards me for a light.
