Jungkook swallowed down his lunch slowly, his mind wandering...

.

"I've been in millions of scenarios where a boy I like, would like Racy more than me... Heartbreak is like a scheduled tragedy in my life. It comes with time over and over."

"I'm sorry," he said softly and you waved him off.

"Nah it's cool, I've gotten used to it."

He looked a bit pained while listening to you.

"Which is why I respected you when we first kissed..." you trailed off.

"You made it clear to me that you weren't interested. I liked how sure you were over what you wanted," you said smiling, "so thanks for not leading me on."

.

His jaw clenched lightly at his own memory.

.

"I love you."

"That's why it bothers me!"

.

His eyes shut quick. Teeth clamped, he tried not swearing at himself as he let his spoon go into his soup. Moving out of his chair, he couldn't quite catch the others worried reactions as they spotted him leaving the room.

Their manager was quiet for a moment before he went on trying to explain to each member what exactly they should be saying. The message had to be genuine, but at the same time, they couldn't have any more mistakes occur at this fan meeting.

Jimin's eyes lingered on the door the entire time, his eyes softening at the maknae leaving.

Everyone knew what was bothering the boy...

-

"Iris please just help me out here?" you whined in annoyance as the girl before you painted away at her canvas. You wished to move on the stool you were seated on but forced yourself not to even itch a muscle. She'd yell again.

"Almost done I promise," she piped as she moved her glasses high up on her nose once again. There was no use however, they simply slid down lamely.

"You've been saying that for the past hour and my ass has gone numb from sitting on this dick-shaped stool," you said through your teeth.

She smiled lightly at you before continuing to work on painting you.

It didn't help that the both of you were in the middle of the school's field and everyone was in view of your uncomfortable position. Plus, the costume you had to wear was too dreadful to even describe out loud. If one were to imagine how a rusty lamp looked like in the Victorian ages, that would be you right now.

"I'm sorry," she piped cutely and you rolled your eyes. You couldn't help but smile at how cute and clumsy she was. Watching as the girl wiped at her face, paint landed on her cheek and you pursed your lips.

You were grinning like an idiot.

"Honestly if Yoongi met you before Racy things would've been solid and the boys wouldn't be going through all this mess," you chimed.

Iris dropped her brush.

"Just saying," you said shrugging, "you two would be cute."

"No way," she mumbled as she grabbed at another brush, "he's outta my league. I mean he fell for Racy right? That says a lot about what kind of girl he's into."

You smiled painfully.

"You don't give yourself enough credit."

"You give me too much," she said grinning as she winked over at you.
