Okay, so my sister has now changed her username to ChocoholicBezza (sigh)
"Toris" A boy with shoulder length blonde hair wearing a skirt engulfed Toris in a hug the second they got within spitting distance of the school gate. "Like, OMG Toris, you like totally didn't text me or anything. I felt so lonely. I could've died."
"You're alright now Feliks" Toris said, hugging him back. "And you're just overreacting again."
Feliks pulled a face and turned to the others. "Heya, I... OMG, you guys must like, totally be the news guys. I'm Feliks."
"Hi, I'm Lukas and this is Emil" Lukas gave Emil a stern look out of the corner of his eye, silently praying he didn't mention the skirt.
Thankfully, he didn't. He stayed silent and emotionless.
"So, are you guys, like, going to give them a tour or something?"
"Basically" Tino shrugged.
"Kay, see ya" Feliks took hold of Toris' hand and wandered off with him.
Mathias shook his head. "He's great but..." Berwald flicked him and he shut up.
"You should probably go to the office, to tell them you're here" Tino said.
They wandered in the direction of the main building. The receptionist looked up as they walked in, carefully putting down her nail file.
"You're Lukas and Emil Bondevik-Steillson?" she said, typing a few things into the computer, clicking a little and peering at them over steel-rimmed glasses. Lukas nodded. She pushed away from the desk, gliding over to a filing cabinet, throwing open the door and gliding back with four sheets of paper. "These are your timetables for the week. They won't change, so stick to them." She shoved them into their hands, then the other two sheets. "These are your notes. Give them to your teachers so they know who you are."
Lukas nodded again. The receptionist pressed a button under her desk and the door to her side opened. Mathias held it and dramatically waved one hand. "After you."
"And Mr Densen" the receptionist glared at him. "Don't think that last week's incident has been overlooked yet."
Mathias blinked and laughed. "Oh well."
"What happened last week?" Emil asked the second the door closed behind them.
"Oh, nothing much" Mathias shrugged. "I just got into a fight, that's all."
"With who?" Emil pestered.
"Ivan" Mathias spat. "It's complicated. He was picking on Eduard, so Tino stepped in, so Berwald stepped in, and I couldn't exactly leave them all to be beaten up could I? Ivan is a big guy."
"What've you got first" Tino asked, taking Lukas' timetable from his pocket, changing the subject quickly. "Maths. Hey, you're in the same maths as me and Berwald."
Lukas nodded. Berwald stabbed a finger at Emil's. "You're in the same French as Raivis."
Emil stuck out his bottom lip. "I can already speak French. And German."
"Then it should be easy for you" Mathias grinned. "How can I ask?"
"I learnt" Emil muttered. "We did Spanish at our old school, so I was actually learning stuff."
Lukas sighed. "Hætta að kvarta" he said. "Þú munt vera fínn."
"Þegiðu" Emil grumbled.
Hætta að kvarta - Stop complaining
Þú munt vera fínn - you'll be fine
Þegiðu - shut upMathias blinked and then shrugged. "What else have you got today? I wanna see if we're in any of the same classes" he stared at the paper for a second. "Um... P.E., history... English... yeah. That's it. That sucks, you're in everything with Tino, and most things with Berwald."
Lukas shrugged. It wasn't like it'd be weird not having one of his friends in his class. He'd never really had friends. Neither of them had.
They dropped Emil off outside the languages classrooms, where Raivis was already there, trying to ignore Peter who was just talking, and talking, and talking. Leon was leaning against the wall, listening to music and waved as he appeared.
Lukas sighed and turned away. He'd be alright, he had people he knew there. And there he went again, worrying too much about him. He'd be fine. He always was. Lukas just worried about everything, especially when he was nervous. And that was when he started to hallucinate majorly. Normally, he'd be alright, but sometimes, mainly when he was nervous, he'd start badly. He just hoped it wouldn't happen today.
"Ah" Mathias glared down the corridor. "You know how we keep on talking about Ivan? Well, meet Ivan Braginsky." He gestured to where he was glaring. A boy of at least six foot with platinum blonde hair was standing over Eduard, who stood in front of Toris, Feliks hiding behind him. Mathias growled and strode over.
"Damn it" Tino face-palmed. "He's going to get into another fight. I bet you anything he will."
"Christmas?" Berwald grunted, a faint smile playing on his lips.
Tino hesitated. "Done."
"That means he will fight" Berwald said.
Mathias prodded Ivan. Originally, Lukas had thought Mathias tall, but next to Ivan, he looked tiny. There was some words they couldn't hear, which slowly raised in volume.
"Why do you always have to go round picking on everyone?" Mathias shouted. They now had everyone in the hallway's attention.
"I don't pick" Ivan smiled.
"Yes you do" Mathias hissed.
"I don't. They are willing to help me."
"They're scared of you idiot"
Ivan's face darkened. "No they're not. You're the idiot here."
Then Mathias broke. He punched him in the face and then went to kick him. Ivan carefully dodged both and flicked him into the wall as though he were just a rag doll.
"Told you" Tino sighed and ran forwards.
"Damn" Berwald followed him, leaving Lukas to go after them, not wanting to look like a loner.
A crowd had gathered, all shouting 'fight', and blows were still being exchanged. Somewhere at the edge of the crowd, a teacher was standing and screaming at everyone.
Berwald got there before Tino and stood in between them, Mathias already had a bleeding nose. "Stop."
Ivan was in mid punch when he turned up so hit him, hard. Berwald hesitated for a second, and then hit him back. "I said stop."
Mathias spat blood at Ivan and allowed Tino and Lukas to drag him away.
"Seriously Mathias, someday you're really, really going to hurt yourself" Tino passed him a tissue.
"Don't care" Mathias grumbled. "It's always his fault. Always. If he didn't just..."
"We know" Berwald rolled his eyes.
Mathias grunted and dabbed at his nose.
