¤ Chapter 25: A Day Of Peace ¤

The next day was quiet, everyone in a good and bad mood, mourning over our fellow comrades at the funeral.
I attended all of them, I cried through most of them, while being comforted by Bee and my family.
Everyone was calm after the funeral, talking about the good times they had with they're comrades.
I was walking around Nest wandering into my sector with my head down.
I couldn't help but feel relived that Megatron was dead, like a weight was lifted off my shoulders, but I was still upset that several soldiers died over this one war, but I guess I couldn't help it.
Our teachers taught us that soldiers die all the time in wars, but this facility practically raised me. Everyone here is practically family, bot and human.
I sighed as I walked in and closed the door.
"Vic? What are you doing in my room?" I hear Bee ask.
I shot my head up to see Bee, no shirt, pants, just underwear.
I clasped my hands over my eyes in embarrassment.
"I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to which room I was entering!" I said to him, face flushed blue with energon.
I hear him chuckling.
Yeah Bee this is totally funny.
"You can open your eyes now." He says to me.
I shake my head no.
I hear him walk over and he pries my hands from my eyes.
I blushed as he has clothes on, well except for the shirt.
Before I can stop myself I blurted out.
" I didn't know you had a six pack!" I exclaimed.
Bee bursted out laughing pulling me to his bed, which was a mess.
"When's the last time you cleaned your room?" I asked him.
"A few days ago." He answered simply as he layed down on the pile of clothes.
"How did you get your room this messy under a couple of hours?!" I asked in disbelief.
He just shrugged and gave me a goofy smile. I laughed in response.
"Come on, put a shirt on. I want to see our family before they go." I said to him. Bee broke out into a huge grin. "What?" I asked him.
"You said 'our' instead of 'my'" He said with a smirk.
"Aww come on, you're practically family to us." I whined.
"Did you tell them about us yet?" He asked me.
I blushed at the question.
"O-oh you see.... I-I didn't k-know that we- you know a-are a t-thing." I said obviously flustered.
Dang I can't say a single word without stuttering. Well I was able to with a few words but still!
Bee chuckled shaking his head.
"Right I forgot to ask you." He says sitting up.
"Ask me what?" I asked him.
Bee shucked in a sharp breath then breathed out.
"Will you go out with me?" He blurted out, face flushed.
I smiled happily and nodded.
"Yes." I whispered softly.
As soon as my answer left my mouth he lifted me in the air, smiling.
"Bee, you need to stop doing this!" I said giggling.
Bee sat me back on the ground and pulled me into an embrace.
We both hear the door open.
Me and Bee peired at the door and saw Sam, he had a slight frown on his face but smiled a second later.
"They said our parents and families are leaving now so you might want to put a shirt on." He said gesturing towards Bee.
Bee just shrugged and grabbed his shirt he was putting on earlier and slipped it on.
"Thanks Sammy." I said to him with a smile.
Sam chuckles.
"Yeah no problem, and don't call me that." He says leaving.
"Hey where's-" as soon as I was about to say her name, Bri came squealing into the room and hid behind me. "Don't let him find me." She whispered.
"Don let who-" my sentence was cut off by Smokescreen coming into the room and picking up Bri from behind me.
"Gottcha!!" He exclaimed while Bri squealed.
"Come on you guys, we have to say goodbye to our family." I said to them. Smokescreen puts Bri down with ease and takes her hand.
"Come on, I want to meet your mom." He says to her.
Bee looks between Bri and Smokescreen and smiles shaking his head.
"The relationship between those two is definitely going to be interesting." He says to me.
"Don't make me come over there and slap you." Bri says to him.
Bee laughs.
"You wouldn't even lay a hand on me if you tried." He says with a laugh. "Alright let's go." I said walking out with them.

We get to the helipad meeting our family there.
Sam's parents were there as well, his mother was holding him and wouldn't let go, while his father was just laughing.
My mom gave me and Bee a hug and whispered something in Bee's ear, he gave a swift nod and smile in response before going to talk to my dad.
"Hey Vic." Sam said running over.
"I want you to meet my parents." He said pulling me along.
Ms and Mr Witwicky had peach skin, Sam's mother had light brown hair and green eyes, while his father has dark brown hair and brown eyes. "Mom, Dad this is Victoria, the girl I was talking about." Sam says gesturing towards me.
Sam's parents smiled at me.
"Oh my god, you're practically gorgeous, isn't she pretty Ron?" Ms.Witwicky exclaimed.
"Nice one I'll tell you that." Mr. Witwicky says to her.
"Hi I'm Judy, Sam's mother and this is Ron." She says shaking my hand.
"It's very nice to meet you." I said with a smile.
Sam chuckles shifting on his feet.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sam has told us so much about you." Ms.Witwicky exclaimed.
"Oh, he did?" I asked looking at Sam. Sam smiles nervously while rubbing the back of his head.
Seems like he hasn't told me something very important!
"Mom , Dad shouldn't you guy's get back to Mojo and Franky." Sam says to them.
"Oh I guess you're right, but come over anytime. Where moving over to where you live since the facility says it's for our protection." Ms.Witwicky says to me. I smiled in response.
They entered the fist helicopter waving goodbye to Sam.
He waved back in response and let's out a sigh when they were gone. "You're parents where nice." I said to him.
"There more embarrassing than more you can imagine." He says shaking his head.
"Is there something you want to tell me?" I asked him.
"No." He said quickly.
"Okay." I said walking towards Bee who was in a conversation with my older sister.
She was looking like she was...... giving him a warning!
"Sup, what are you guys talking about?" I asked them.
"Giving him a warning saying that if he hurts my little sister he's gonna get it." Destiny answered simply as if it was nothing.
Bee laughs nervously trying not to pass out.
"Aww Dad please tell me you didn't do the same thing." I said embarrassed. "Yes." Dad says to me.
"Demitrius?!" Mom says to him. "What?" He asked as if it was nothing. Demarin just laughed, clearly enjoying the show.
"I promise to protect your daughter, she means the world to me and I would never hurt her." Bee says to them.
My parents smiled at him.
"We know you will." Mom says before giving me a hug and entering the helicopter.
Everyone else followed the suite, and we bid our goodbyes.
I looked back at Bee who was waving goodbye to my parents.
I gave him a hug, snuggling against his chest.
He hugs me tighter and kisses my head. Smokescreen and Bri come over, hand in hand.
"Well? How'd your mom react? I wanted to talk to her." I asked her.
"It went better than I expected. I did not expect her to be cool with him living with us." Bri says to me.
"Yeah but the best part is that she likes me." Smokescreen says doing a happy dance.
Bri laughs shaking her head.
We all walk back to Nest with smiles on our faces.
This has been a peaceful day.
