Chapter 8

~Joeys POV~

I sit, anxiously, and wait for the "ultimate dare" Sawyer will give Daniel. He smiles evilly at me and Daniel, but I just shrug it off. "I dare you to kiss Joey." I can't feel anything. I feel my cheeks go Red. This could either make us or break us. I look at Daniel, whose eyes are widened in surprise. "Go ahead, do it 'Dare King'" Sawyer smirks and the whole crowd falls silent. Neither of us move. Daniel looks at me and it seems as if he is trying to tell me something. He moves his lips, but nothing comes out of his move. Are you sure you're okay with this? I read his lips. I nod. OF COURSE IM OKAY WITH MY CRUSH, THIS HOTTY, KISING ME. I calm myself down. He looks at me and pulls me into a smooth kiss. Sparks fly. Everything about this felt right. We kiss a little longer, and we then realize we were still at the party, and we quickly pull away. My cheeks turned a bright red, and we look at each other. Everyone laughs, and over the laughs we whisper to each other. "Don't take this seriously." He said. I looked at him confusedly. He started coughing, and wiped his lips. He showed a disgusting look on his face. I do the same, and I run out the door. Everyone still laughing. I wait outside to see if Daniel would follow. I wait a while. No one. I start walking and suddenly hear my name. "Joey!" I hear a familiar voice call. It's Daniel. He comes running towards me, and we begin to walk home.

"How in the world did they let you out." I laugh. "I quietly went out through the back foot which just so happens to be near the bathroom." He smiles back and I laugh. "I really hope that kiss doesn't make anything awkward between us." He stated. I shake my head. "It doesn't. Don't worry. I know how the pressure feel." I reply. We continue to walk, and it is silent for a few seconds. "I kinda liked it." I say out of nowhere, looking at my feet. We stop. He looks at me. "I kinda did too." He replied. We arrive at my house, and he walks em to my door. "Thanks for coming to that party with me." Daniel stated. "No problem, I had a good time!" I reply. We smile and he walks off. I sigh. Why does he have to go?

I quickly run upstairs, without my parents stopping me and asking me why I was late. They don't even know I exist. I run up to my room and close my door shut. I jump up and down and scream silently. I just kissed Daniel Preda! AND HE LIKED IT! I quickly open the group chat with Connor, Troye, and Tyler.

We finish our conversation and I shut off my phone. I hope it becomes official.
