Chapter 29

~Daniel's POV~

Tonight's the night we've all been anxiously waiting for. Prom night. I  finish tying my tie and I look in the mirror. Perfect. I want this night to be perfect for Joey. Even more than perfect. I grab the bouquet of flowers I picked out just for my boy, and I look outside to find the limo I ordered especially for this night. I grab my phone and my wallet and I run downstairs to the limo.

We arrive at Joey's house and I hop out of the limo and so does the limo driver. I walk up to the front door of his house and I knock. I wait about 5 minutes for a response and the door finally swings open. There was my handsome boy, all suited up in a nice blazer. Behind him was his mom and Nicole, ready with their cameras.

After taking tons of pictures, Joey finally notices the limo. "Daniel, you shouldn't have." He smiles and looks at me. I grab his hand and we walk to the limo. The limo driver opens the door, and I signal Joey to hop in. Once we both are in, the limo driver closes the door and hops back into the drivers seat. "I've also arranged to pick up Troye, Connor, Tyler, and his date!" I exclaim. "WHO'S TYLER'S DATE!?!?" Joey squeals. I laugh at his cuteness. "I don't know yet, he hasn't told any of us!" I reply. We pull up to Connor's house, and we watch them walk down their driveway, holding hands and smiling at each other. The lmo driver hops out and opens the door, and in walks Connor and Troye. "Heyy guys!" Connor exclaims. "Heyy guys! You guys look amazing!" Joey exclaims. "Yeah you guys look amazing look wise and couple wise. You guys are too damn adorable" I say and everyone giggles. "Hey don't give us all the credit for being a cute couple, have you seen you two?" Troye states. "I guess we are a pretty good couple!" I laugh and I pull Joey closer to me as he leans his head on my shoulder. "Point proven." Connor states. 

The limo finally arrives at Tyler's house.  "Do you guys know who's Tyler's date is? He hasn't told us." Troye asks. "No! He hasn't told any of us He said it was a 'surprise'. Tyler the Tease." I reply, giggling. The limo driver hops out of the driver's seat once again to open the door for Tyler and his mystery date. We all stare at Tyler's door anxiously, waiting for him to walk out. The door finally opens, and we see a tall brown haired boy next to Tyler, but couldn't make out the face details because of the tinted windows. "Who's that?" Connor asks. "I was wondering the same thing." Joey answers. The door finally opens and we see them walking down their drive way, holding hands. "IT'S KOREY!!!" Troye squeals. The hop in the limo and the limo driver shuts the door. "Hey guys!!" Tyler exclaims, cheery. "Like my 'Mystery Date'" Tyler giggles, and hugs Korey. We all awe in cuteness and giggle.

We arrive at the school. Time to shine. Korey hops out first, grabbing Tyler's hand and helping him out of the limo. Next follows Troye and Connor, and Troye helps Connor out of the limo. I hop out of the car and I smile. "Shall we?" I ask the beautiful brown haired boy. "We shall." He responds cutely, and I grab his hand and I help him out of the limo.  We hand in our tickets and we walk into the huge gymnasium, decorated with posters, streamers, and balloons. "Wow, this is decorated beautifully." Korey exclaims. "You got that right." I replied. I look to my right to see a huge table full of snacks and food. I look in front of me to see a bunch of couples an friends dancing, and to my right, I see people taking prom photos. After a while of gazing at the beautiful decorations, I hear a familiar song come on. I quickly realize it's "Work Bitch" from Britney Spears and I scream. Joey and all of his friends look at me and laugh at how trash I am. "Come on Joey!!" I say, grabbing his hand and yanking him onto the dance floor, as he hysterically laughs. "YOU GOTTA WORK BITCH!" I scream at him over the loud music as he continues to laugh.

After about 30 Britney song requests and 30 Britney song dances later we finally take break to eat some food. I place Joey's plate in front of him and I sit across from him. "This looks delicious" He exclaims and begins to eat. "Having a great time, sweety?" I ask him after he finishes chewing. "More than great." He smiles cutely, and he leans over the table and places a soft kiss on my cheek. I smile and blush.

Joey finishes eating, and we decide to head over to where the prom photos were being taken. We patiently wait in line till it's finally our turn to take photos. We use cute props for the first two pictures, and for the next two, we do cute couple poses. We pick up our pictures and we laugh at them. "These are so cheesy, but so cute." Joey smiles, and I nod my head, agreeing an laughing.

A slow love song comes on, and I grab Joeys hands. "Will you dance with me?" I ask the blushing boy. "Of course." He smiles and we walk onto the dance floor. I wrap my arms around his waist and he wraps his arms around my neck. I stare into his glossy, beautiful green eyes and he stares right back. "I honestly don't know what I'd do without you, babe. I don't know what I did to deserve you. You make me the happiest boy in the world." Joey smiles, and I blush. "You've impacted my life so much. I thought I would never have this. This is everything I could ever ask for. I love you, Joey, and I will till my last breath." I state. It felt as if the whole world stopped for us. The whole word was on our side. I never thought I would have what I have with this beautiful man. I thought I would never have someone to hold. Someone to comfort. Most of all, someone to love. Our lips combine, his soft lips touching mine, as sparks fly.
