Chapter 36

~Joey's POV~
Today we decided to take Wolf to the dog park to make some new friends. I leash Wolf up and Daniel grabs the backpack, filled with water bottles, a bowl, and some treats. "Ready dear?" Daniel asks me. "Yes sir!" I say, smiling. "I was talking to Wolf." Daniel smiled and looks at Wolf, his tail wagging furiously. "But you get something even better. A kiss." He smirks and chuckles, giving me a peck in the lips. "That's much better than calling me 'Dear'"

We arrive at the large-sized dog park. Wolf barks at all the pups running around, wildly. "Alright buddy calm down." I say as i unbuckle my seat belt, and place Wolf in the back seat, who is still barking at passing by dogs. I hop out of the car, and so does Daniel. I open the backseat and I take Wolf's leash as he dashes out of the car. He starts to pull and tug, so hard he starts dragging me along. I can hear Daniel giggling in the background as Wolf continues to drag me around. After laughing, Daniel finally comes over and helps me control Wolf. "Puppy too strong for you?" He chuckles. "Hey he's one strong puppy" I laugh. Daniel takes the leash and walks Wolf into the dog park. Once we secure the gate, Daniel unleashes Wolf and he sprints around the arena, in search for a new friend. Daniel and I sit on an open bench and watch Wolf run around, and most importantly, making sure he doesn't get into any trouble. I learn my head on Daniel's shoulders. "I think he's the perfect pup." I say as I watch Wolf play with a small golden retriever. "He is more than the perfect pup. He's like a child." "Our child". He smiles and places a kiss on my forehead. Wolf runs over to us and hops in our laps. He circles a few times and lays down. I look up at Daniel and smile, as wolf begins to doze off. "Hey Joey!" I hear someone call my name. I look up. "Hey Shane!" I reply. Shane is a friend I met through the YouTube community, and we've been best friends ever since. He's here with his girlfriend, Lisa, and their dog, Corny. "Long time no see! How's it been?" Shane asks. "It's been pretty great, actually!" I state. "And you?" "Pretty fine myself.". I realize Daniel and Shane never met, so i begin to introduce each other. "Oh, I don't think you've met Daniel! Shane this is Daniel, my boyfriend." I say as I place a kiss on Daniel's cheek and he smiles. "Hi Shane! Nice to meet you!" Daniel smiles, and shakes Shane's hand. "Nice to meet you too, Daniel!"

After talking with Shane for a while, Shane leaves with Lisa and we decide to head out ourselves. We put Wolf in the backseat and we hop in the car. "What now?" I ask. "I say we go to Petsmart and get Wolf some toys and costumes!" Daniel states and I smile. "Oh my gosh we gotta do that!!" I squeal and Daniel chuckles. He puts the car in drive and we head on the route to Petsmart.

After around 15 minutes of driving, since the dog park and Petsmart aren't that far away from each other, we arrive at Petsmart. Daniel takes Wolf this time, and I grab the backpack. We walk through the doors of Petsmart and see a variety of different dogs getting groomed, getting trained, or just shopping with their owners. We tug Wolf along, as he stops and smells literally everybody and every thing. We finally make it to the costume aisle. "There's so many to choose from." Daniels states as he already started gathering costumes. "Here, I have an idea, you pick out costumes to surprise me, and i'll pick out toys to surprise you." I stage and he nods. "Let's make it s competition. Whoever can pick out the cutest toys or accessories will win!" Daniel states and i chuckle. "Game on, Pig!"
