Chapter 27

~Daniel's POV~

I groan to the sound of my beeping alarm clock at 5:00 AM. I unlock my phone to shut the alarm off and I get up. I walk into the bathroom, put my hair in a cute quiff and I put on some jeans and a nice flannel. I quickly eat my cereal and drink a glass of water, and I head out the door.

Joey is waiting at the end of my driveway. "Joey!" I say loud enough for him to hear. He turns around, runs up to me, and hugs me. "I missed you, Danny." He says cutely. "I was only gone for the night." I laugh. "The longest night of my life." He says and I let out a giggle. Our bus fin ally pulls up and we hop on.

We arrived at the school and met up with Tyler, Troye, and Connor. "Hey!" Joey says to them. "Hey!" They reply, and we start walking into the school.

After some small talk, Joey brings up the subject about prom. "So, who are you guys taking to prom?" They all look at each other. Troye begins to speak. "Well, I'm taking Connor." Troye smiles, and wraps his arm around  the brown haired boy, as he leans into his chest and smiles. Tyler giggles endlessly. "Do you have a strange couples-doing-cute-things fetish?" I ask Tyler. "No, I have a GAY-couples-doing-cute-things fetish. Only gay couples. No exceptions." He states and we all laugh. "Who are you taking to prom, Tyler?" Joey asks. "Not sure yet, but I've been seeing this cute guy around school. We've been checking each other out a lot. I think his name is... Korey?" He says blushing. "wow, that's crazy, because I heard he has a massive crush on you! My friend is really good friends with I'm and he doesn't stop talking about you!" I say, and Tyler's face instantly lights up. "Really!?" He squeals. "Yes!" I say. "There's Korey right now! I gotta go" Tyler quickly grabs his stuff and heads towards Korey. "You go girl!" We all yell at him and he turns back and laughs, an continues his way to Korey.

The day ends and I meet Joey at his locker. "Hey Joseph, got any plans this weekend?" I ask him. "No" He smiles. "Want to go see a movie?" I ask him, smiling. "Sure!" He closes his locker and picks up his light backpack. I hold out my hand, and he grabs it, and we walk out the school.

We finally arrived at my house after a long bus ride and we discuss about what movie we want to see. After we finally decide on a movie, we plop down on my bed. "Do you mind if I nap on your bed before we go?" He asks tiredly. "Of course you can sw-" I am cut off by his snoring. I laugh. I lay next to him, and run my fingers through his soft hair, and I feel his hand touch mine. I hold his hand and I smile. I kiss him on the cheek, and I rub his back. I love him more than words can describe. He is so cute.
