Chapter 21

~Joey's POV~

I run away as fast as I can, ignoring his beautiful voice calling mine. I should have never trusted him. I should have known he would be that kind of type. I run all the way to Connor's house. I quickly wipe my tears and I try to freshen up. I take deep breaths and I think happier thoughts, then I knock on the door. Quickly, before someone answers the door, I whip out my phone and open the camera to see how I look. I look ok. I quickly shut it off and someone answers the door. "Joey! Hey, you look a little red, are you ok?" Connor asks. Shit. "Yeah, it's just really hot and I walked here." I say with a smile. I can't tell them about what happened. They have really high hopes for me and Daniel, and I don't want to tell them just yet. Plus, they'll go after that bitch.

I walk in and everyone greets me and I brush everything off. Who needs a boyfriend when you have four of the best friends in the world, amiright? Who am I kidding, I miss him to death. I sigh to myself and I sit down at the table, which has monopoly all set up with the money sorted out. "Are you guys ready to get your asses kicked?" Tyler laughs. "Oh honey please, if anything, we're all gonna kick your ass." Troye laughs and everyone laughs.

"What the hell you can't do that!" Connor screams at Tyler who is laughing hysterically. "Oh hell yes I can, it's my property!" Tyler laughs. Connor groans and hands over the money to Tyler. "WOOOOOO!" Tyler screams and places the money down. Connor and Tyler were the last ones standing, while me and Troye already lost all our money to Tyler. "I WIN!!!!" Tyler squeals and we all laugh. This whole night has really helped me get my spirits back up and realize he was just aboy, and there are plenty of hot guys in the world. But he's the only hot guy I want. I plop down on the couch. "Soooo how's everything going with Mr.Hottieeeee" Tyler asks, smiling. Oh shit shit shit. "Good." I say, sadly, which I didn't realize I said it sadly. "Is everything ok? You kinda seemed down this whole night. You seemed, not normal." Troye asks. "I'm fine." I say again. "You're not fine. Tell u s, we're your best friends, Joey, no matter what, and we'll help you get through anything you need help with." Connor states. I sigh. "Ok. I say. I breathe in and out, and I try not to cry. "So obviously I walked here, and Daniel's way is on the way here, so I decided to stop by before he had to attend his 'family buisness'. Well..." I sniffle. "I walked into his room to find him making out with another guy." Everyone gasps. "i ended it right then and there." I say as a tear slides down my cheek. "Aw Joey." Connor scoots closer to me and hugs me. "You gonna be okay?" Tyler asks. "Yeah.." I say, and they all look at me. "No. I miss him so much. I thought everything was going well." I sob into Connor's shouler, and Troye and Tyler come and hug me. I don't know how I'll survive without him by my side. What if I get kidnapped again? What if someone comes to purposely hurt me, and I don't have my boyfriend to protect me? Who will I take to prom this upcoming weekend? I push the horrible questions out of my head.

I finally leave Connor's house and I start to walk home. I check my phone. 15 missed calls from Daniel. No matter how many times that bastard calls me, I'm never talking to that lying piece of shit again until he explains himself. I click off my phone. I finally arrive home and I run to my room and cry into my pillow after letting everything that happened today sink in. This is exactly why I didn't want to get into any relationships too soon. They'll win your heart, then throw it on the ground and crush it, without caring.
