Chapter 28

~Joey's POV~

I feel a light tap on my shoulder. "Time to wake up babe. The movie starts in an hour." I hear Daniel's soothing voice. "Oh shoot I forgot about the movie!" I bounce up. I hear Daniel giggle and I turn around, smiling. "What are laughing about mister?" I snap at him, jokingly. "Nothing. You're just really cute." He smiles and I giggle. I walk into the bathroom and I fix my hair. "How long have I been out?" I ask, trying to get my hair is a perfect quiff. "A couple hours. You passed out right before I gave you permission to sleep on my bed! You need to RSVP to sleep on my bed." He says and I laugh. "Sorry Mr. Preda! I guess it's too late now." I giggle as I freshen up.

"Ready to go?" Daniel calls from downstairs. "Yeah! Let me just get my shoes on!" I say as I struggle to put my shoes on. I finally slip the last shoe on and I walk downstairs. "Shall we?" He asks with a cute little smirk on his face. "We shall." I reply, and we link hands and we walk to his car. He walks ahead of me and opens the door for me, and I smile. He stops me before I get in the car. "Stop right there sir! It costs one kiss to enter." He smiles, and I laugh. "You pig" I smile and I kiss him, his soft lips touching mine. We enter the car and we begin to drive.

We finally arrive at the movie theaters and we exit the car. "Wow, it's not packed like usual." I say, looking at the few cars that sit in the big parking lot. We link hands and begin walking into the theaters. "Stay right here, I'll go purchase the tickets." Daniel says and kisses me on the cheek. I blush and he walks away.

He comes back with the tickets. "Want anything from concession?" He asks me. "No, Daniel you already spent enough money to see this mov-" "It's fine. I don't mind. I'll do anything for you." He smiles and kisses me on the lip. "Popcorn?"

He comes back with one big popcorn and one large soda to share. I hold the soda and he holds the popcorn. We look at the tickets for the theater number. "Theater 4." He says, and we see it across the hall. We begin heading the theater.

We find our seats and we sit down. I place the soda in between us. "Thanks for all this." I tell the dreamy brown haired boy. "Thank you for being with me." He smiles. I go to take some popcorn and he smacks my hand. "Ow! what was that for?" I ask him, rubbing my hand as he laughs. "One kiss!" He says and I laugh. "You jerk." I smile and I kiss his cheek. I reach my hand in the bag to get some popcorn. "Per popcorn!" he smiles. "Now that's just plane stupid" we both laugh. The movie theater grows dark, and the screen lights up. Daniel puts his arm around me and I lean on him, putting my head on his shoulder. He places a kiss on my head, and I smile. I look up and kiss him on his soft, plump lips.
