Chapter 33

~Daniel's POV~

I fling the door open with my feet, Joey in my arms, and  drop him on the couch, a smile never leaving his face, and I place a soft kiss on his lips. "Here's to freedom." I smile  "Here's to freedom." He replies, laughing, and placing a soft kiss right back on my lips. He giggles and places his hand on top of my head ad fiddles with my hair, I smile. "Come on babe, let's change out of these gowns and go get something to eat." I smile. He pout as I get up and I smile at how cute he is. "Come on, I have a surprise after dinner." I smile and his face lights up." "ooo what is it?" He asks, smiling anxiously. "Can't tell you. That's the point of a secret." I smile.

I fixed up my hair and adjust my nice blazer. I slip on my shoes and I wait by the door for Joey. "What's taking so long pig!?" I yell upstairs, jokingly. "I'm almost ready!" He yells back downstairs. His door opens, and he buttons up his shirt as he walks down the stairs. I smile as he walks down the stairs, handsome as ever. I pull into a hug. "Look at my handsome boy." Joey states, giggling. "At least I didn't take 5 hours." I giggle. "Oh stop. I was distracted by listening to Britney Spears." He giggles. "That's my boy!"

We arrive at the restaurant and I open the door on the passengers side for Joey. I hold my hand out and I help him out of the car. He smiles, and doesn't let go of my hand. He leans his head on my shoulders. He places a kiss on my cheek, and I blush. I look into his beautiful green eyes and I smiles. I am so lucky to have him.

We sit down at a table and we begin to look at the menus. We finally decide on a salad and we put our menus in the middle of the table. "Thank you." Joey smiles at me. I look at him confused. "For everything. Being here with me through rough times. I'm surprised you put up with me for a year." He smiles cutely and looks at me. "Why wouldn't I have stayed?" I ask. "Because I never had a relationship this long. No one likes me and I can be annoying and a pain in the ass sometimes." He says. "Joey, don't say that. You're an adorable, little toddler." I laugh. "I'll never leave you for as long as I live."

We finish dinner and we hop in the car. "Are you ready for the surprise?" I smile. "Ready as I'll ever be." He smiles. I begin to drive, ad like the little child he is, he keeps asking "Are we there yet?".

We finally arrive and as I pull in I cover his eyes with one hand and park with the other.  "Ok, keep your eyes closed till I tell you otherwise." I say, and he nods his head. I step out of the car and I keep repeating "Don't look!". I open the passenger door and guide joey out of the car, and I face him in direction of the surprise. "Ok open!" I say and he opens his eyes. "Wow Daniel a building! Love it!" He laughs jokingly. "The real surprise is inside." I say and he smiles. "Now you're gonna have to close your eyes again. I gave you a little hint." I say, and he closes his eyes.

I walk into a building, still guiding Joey. "Open your eyes!" He opens his eyes and gasps. "Puppies!!"

A/N: YAY FOR MORE INACTIVITY!!!! I've been really stressed with school and really busy on weekends. ALSO FUN NEWS. I MET JOEY ON OCTOBER 11!!! HE WAS SO SWEET AND I ACTUALLY CRIED FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT. ALSO YESTERDAY I MET PEYTON LIST. CAN YOU HEAR MY CHILDHOOD SELF AND MY CURRENT SELF SCREAMING IN UNISON!?!?!?! anyways sorry for the short chapter, but I hope you enjoy it! I promise i'll try to be more active and stick to my updating schedule!  love you guys <3
