Chapter 24

~Daniel's POV~

Joey and I finally headed off into our cars and began to drive home. I'm so glad he forgave me. I could never forgive myself for letting Chase do that to me, but I'm glad Joey did. Anyways, I decided that tomorrow I'm gonna ask Joey to Prom. I know it's kinda soon to ask him to prom, since we just started dating again, but I gotta ask him before anyone else, because who wouldn't ask him?

I decided I'm gonna keep it simple but breathe taking. I'm going to ask Connor, Troye, and Tyler to keep him busy through the day, and I'm gonna hide hints around his house, and when he gets to the last hint, there will be a trail of flower pedals leading to me, who will be holding a single red rose and I'll ask him to go to prom.

After confirming with Tyler, Troye, and Connor about keeping him busy, I sit down at my desk with my desk lamp on, writing down the hints on the note card, and placing them in order. I stick the pencil behind my ear and read through the note cards one last time. I place them on the side of my desk and I head into the bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth, and change into only bottoms.

My alarm clock goes off and I decided to skip school today. It's the only time Joey wont be home, so I got to take advantage of that. I shut off my alarm and I stay in my pajamas till I'm for sure certain Joey got on the bus. I take out my phone and I shoot him a text so he doesn't wait for me on the bus or worry about me.

D- Hey Joey! Won't be in school today. Stuck at home with (What feels like) a deadly cold, haha. yay :| srry babe :(

J- Totally fine! Get some rest. Want me to pick up anything for you at the store like medicine or food or anything? I'm going that way anyway because the guys are taking me out to go bowling!

D- Ooooh okay! While you're there, pick me up some oranges, please. I'll pay you back.

J- no no, leave I too me, it's time for me to pay you back :)

D- ok fine, also while you're there can you pick me up some pancake batter, apples, ice cream, new pans, new dish soap, some rags, some reeses, orange juice, a bag of ice, couple more pans, couple more rags, some fresh strawberries, and berries?

J- oh dear that's a lot.

D- I was just kidding hun. Now, get to learning honey. Love you <3

J-  Love you too Danny <3

I smile and click off my phone. Time to make this boy's day.
