HEY SHANKS

Sooooo I feel weird for inserting an author's note in the middle of the story, but screw it I'll be deleting it when I update anyway. A few things just need to be said...

1) I'm kind of STUCK right now with a writer's block (like seriously, everything i try to write ends up like shit) so I'm very sorry for the delayed updates! Not to mention, school's coming up and I'll be in 10TH GRADE (holy shit that's the same grade everyone is in this book holy shit I'm old). I promise to get back on track once I get stuff sorted out!

2) As of the moment I'm having a REALLY bad stomach ache. Not the kind that makes you want to take a dump, but I usually have these really weird stomach aches whenever I feel SUPER uncomfortable. I've been reading fanfics around the net lately, and they tackled stuff I felt uneasy about (i.e. rape, sexual abuse, homophobic comments) and although I know I shouldn't be affected, I AM and my stomach is too and yeah. It might take a day or two for me to get this out of my system. I just feel really bad that people take heavy and serious topics lightly :(

3) Lastly, some people are kinda peeved that the chapters are so short. They're asking for longer chapters, which I have been trying to do but, unfortunately, it doesn't really click with what this story's trying to accomplish.

To the people who're asking for longer chappies, I hope this doesn't come off as rude or pretentious, but I have other works which have long, fully written chapters for you to read (If I can remember correctly, Youth currently has 2,000 something words per chapter, and Remember Me's completed with 14,000 something words). Also, if my works aren't enough to satiate your Newtmas craving, I know tons of other writers who right really good fics! (The people in my tmr+newtmas reading lists are a-m-a-z-i-n-g people and I really love them!)

Friendly reminder: Yours Sincerely is a story about letters and notes and being able to read between the lines. Some chapters are kinda short and a lot of them come off as a bit vague, but that's because I want the readers to be able to realize and give meaning to Newt and Thomas' words on their own. I know you guys are all smart and wonderful people with very beautiful minds, which is why I want to keep you engaged in the story by making you think: what does he mean by this?

Anyway, that came off more as a rant rather than an announcement, but yeah. In a nutshell:

1) Sorry for the slow updates! Busy getting ready for school lmao

2) my stomach hurts like SHIT damn you should really watch what y'all reading on the net okay not all fics are for everbody

3) Nope sorry won't be writing long chappies (not anytime soon anyway) BUUUUUUT the tmr fandom is full of wonderful people you should totes check out so yeaaaah.

You read through all that? Wow, you deserve a Nobel Prize Award :)
