Dearest Tommy,
Actually, I convinced my parents not to go out of town this Christmas. Every year we borrow this cabin my dad's co-worker owns and spend our Christmas there, but thankfully this year they decided to listen to me for once and just stay here in town, where we can celebrate at home with the rest of the family. I think I'd like that, actually. Spending Christmas in town with my relatives as a whole. My parents sort of like doing our own thing as a small family, but me, well, I like to think that I'm part of something whole.
Oh, but before that, we're going to have a pre-Christmas dinner with Minho and his grandparents. Me, Sonya, my parents, and my best friend. It makes me happy, just thinking about it. All the people I love in one house. Even if they'll be wearing reaaally ugly Christmas sweaters, the thought of it still makes me smile.
But enough of that. Don't you have any backup plans? Plans for you and your brother this Christmas? Maybe--maybe you have relatives here in town. Friends? Would your friends mind if you stayed over for Christmas?
                              Yours Sincerely,
Newt
PS. Oh, but before you do make plans, do tell me in advance. I'll be sending something over before Christmas and, ah, I want you to be there to recieve it.
