Gracie's POV
The past few weeks have been very tough for me. When you get pulled out of school to be privately taught by a teacher for just me, It is hard. Being pulled from my friends at my foster home, Ethan Abbot and Lucy Hollis didn't take my leaving as good as I thought they would. They still supported me anyway.

Once I was at the Richard Rodgers, I sat on the stage waiting.
After a couple minutes, Lin, Tommy, and another man walked in through out the stage door.
The other man was in killer shape. He looked like a dance, or a body builder, or a gymnast. Something like that.
"Hey, Gracie! This is Andy Blankenbuehler, our choreographer."
Andy shook my hand, and greeted me with a smile. He seemed like he was in his early fourtys.
"So, Anthony has been telling me that you have been working on a song for our solo audition." Tommy spoke to me sitting on the front of the stage.
"I have been working on Superboy and the Invisible Girl from Next to Normal. "
"Alright. Take it away." Tommy said.
"Superboy and the Invisible Girl...
Son of steel and daughter of air.
He's a hero, a lover, a prince—
She's not there. " I felt nervous but once I started I got stronger, and the belt grew stronger."Superboy and the Invisible Girl...
Everything a kid ought to be.
He's immortal, forever alive—
Then there's me. I wish I could fly
And magically appear
And disappear.
I wish I could fly
I'd fly far away from here. Superboy and the Invisible Girl...
He's the one you wish would appear.
He's your hero, forever your son. He's son here. I am here"I felt my voice grow tired, but it was only tired because I nailed that song.
I looked up again to see three faces with different expressions. Tommy looked like he was on the edge of his seat. Lin looked like a proud dad. Andy, on the other hand, looked at me like I was a prodigy child that walked through the door.
"That was just" Tommy started.
"Breathtaking" Lin finished Tommy's sentence.
After my vocal audition, it was time for dance. My dance audition was the only thing I was nervous about.
Andy showed me the dance routine to What Did I Miss. I caught on fast, as I went on with the number. I just had to relax and feel the music.
I mean It's not like I walked in there without an dance experience. I danced at a studio when I was at this one foster home. My foster mom paid for classes. I learned a lot.
But this is Broadway dancing....this is something else.

The first night home in Anthony and Jasmine's apartment was well....Interesting.Jasmine was trying to win me over by telling me, "We are going to go shopping tommorow, and we can go to any shops that you want to. Hold up, Gracie, What are your favorite shops?" She was trying to win her love and affection by showering me with gifts. I mean I didn't mind it, but I just never had someone who cared like Anthony and her did.
"I don't know, No one has ever shopped for me...with me, I mean" I stuttered, I wasn't use to having people care for me. Jasmine put her hand on my shoulder.
On their route home, I stopped walking,"I think that means we need to try all the stores." She said, very serious. I smiled at her remark
Anthony's eyes got really big, "I think the rent pay up is next week too, so let us be frugal." He said, almost sweating, as if our shopping plan was going to break the bank. Jasmine gave him a 'She has never gone shopping in her life, let her live a little' look.
"On the flip side, I really think a shopping trip will be fun....bonding experience, don't you think so?" Anthony inquired, walking up the stairs to the apartment. Rattling for his keys, He patiently waited for a response.
"It will be great" I responded, as Anthony opened the door to their apartment. This was very exciting for me, a change in style. I was used to foster care home changes, but this was permanent, hopefully.
Their apartment was beautifully classically decorated with white lamps on side tables, marble stone kitchens, and black and white bedrooms. As Jasmine went through the house with me, they stumbled upon what will become my room I guess. It was empty. I just kind of stared at it. Not because it was empty, no because it was her own room.
"This is your room." We stepped in, " It has big windows, closet space, a connecting bathroom"
I stared through the Manhatten skies. "We didn't want to decorate your room without you, we just need to know your style and......"
I smiled. As I stared out to the rainy clouds, I just said to my self, "What comes next?".

The next day as I laid asleep in her bed. A great sleepy hunk of hair woke me up from my sleep, cuddled up in my blanked. I slept peaceful, but the hunk of hair woke me anyways.
"Lin, what are you doing in my room?" I said freaking out, being awoken like that is not how I thought my morning was going to go. Now if had been Louis Tomlinson that would have been okay.
"Get dressed, We are going on an adventure" Lin said, grabbing my arm and pulling me out of bed.
