Chapter 29

Lin's POV

I just had to watch my daughter seize unconsciously, nothing like this had happened to her? Had it.

She had never mentioned it, I mean the seizures of course. Soon after we got to the hospital, she was taken away from us.

For the first time in my life, there was not anything I could do. I could not even say anything, for the first time in your life.

Vanessa sat down in the waiting room, I stick my hands In my pockets and paced the floor.

"Lin." I looked back to my wife, who had tears down her face.

"Vanessa" I went over to her, I wiped off her face. "She is going to be fine, Ness, She has got to be fine"

I just rubbed her back, She laid her head on my shoulder. We just sat there waiting forever.

Hours had gone by since we had been here, a doctor finally called out for us

"We like to have your consent to run some test on Gracie"

"Wh-What are you running test on her for?"

"We think Gracie might have epilepsy"

Gracie's POV

I woke up in a hospital bed, that was unusual the last thing I remember was eating with the family and nick.

Lin and Vanessa opened the door, I was very confused.

"What's going on? I'm really scared."

Lin came and sat next to me on the hospital bed, and Vanessa sat in the chair next to the bed.

"Do you remember anything of tonight's events?" Vanessa questioned

"I remember dinner and I fell backwards out of my chair. Now I'm here"

"You had a seizure, Gracie. You had a seizure"

"What?"

I had a seizure, I can't of had a seizure. This can not of happened, this can't be happening,

My Doctor came in, She introduced herself as Doctor Robbins.

She was a epilepsy specialist.

"Gracie, we are going to run a few test in the morning, nothing painful. It's going to be fine, " She looked at Vanessa and Lin, "Test wise"

"For now, You need to get some sleep" Lin told me, but I didn't want to sleep, knowing that there might be something wrong  with me.

I guess I would try. Try and go to sleep, that was impossible.

Lin's POV

Vanessa went home at about 3 in the morning, she went to go get Sebastian. Nick had taken him to my parents' place.

I just want our family to be together, happy and alive. I had to just watch Gracie sleep, scared out of my mine. For her.

I spent most of the night, making sure she was okay.

Her hair over her face, she breathed loudly as she slept. It was adorable.

I snatched my phone out of my pocket, I took a picture of her on my phone.

Twitter and I are like best friends.

I finally thought of something to say:

Sweet Gracie asleep in her bed, prayers and thoughts appreciated

Soon after I tweeted that, I fell asleep in my chair.

Vanessa's POV

I went back to the hospital to check on Gracie, only to find a curled up Lin on the little couch-chair.

"Lin-Lin!" I tried to wake him up, "Lin Manuel Miranda"

"What do you want mom?" He wiped his eyes.

Mom?

I love that man, but he is absolutely insane.

"Go home, Lin"
