Chapter 44

Gracie's POV

Ice skating was fun, We only go once in a blue moon. Dan and I walked hand and hand, you would think that Anthony and Jasmine wouldn't be okay with that. I dont know maybe since they are young in love, they get it.

Photographers and journalists warmed us, I burried my head into his shoulder, into his jacket. I felt the click and shutter of the cameras on my skin.

I have been in the world of flashes, autographs and interview for for almost a year know, I would never get use to it.

Once we hit our lunch spot on Broadway, the reporters and journalist left us alone. I un hid my head from Dan's chest, he smiled. I shivered, he was such a special guy.

The birthday arrangement was superb. Pink balloons, my favorite color, staggered across the patio seating. The whole cast brightened their eyes as I entered the room.

Lin ran to me, I had only seen him yesterday. Sometimes since I have been back with Anthony and Jasmine, I start to miss him, a lot.

"Hey, Kiddo, Happy Birthday!" Lin said, before 'bear hugging' me, "How has your birthday been so far?"

"Good. Thanks for everything!" I hugged him back, but he had a confused look on his face.

"For what?" Lin had furry eyebrows, he looked weird.

"Taking me from that subway, It changed my life."

"..it changed our life too..." Jasmine said to me, I smiled at her.

When I looked at her, I stared at her pregnant belly. Man, Jasmine was about to pop. She was going to be the best mom, she already was.

My favorite friends from other Broadway friends were also there. Riley Haas, she was from Annie the Musical, as well as Maddie, and Abigail.

"Hey Riley," She had a beautiful smile on her face, It was nice to see her, "How are you?"

Engulfed by her attention and affection, "I'm good, Happy to be here."

I talked to Riley and the other girls from Annie, as well as from Matilda. We discussed how their shows were going.

"I'm just excited to be in the presence of Lin" Maddie said.

Everybody loves him, but sometimes i fell like people use me to get to him.

Our party group ate the food, I love lasagna so that's what I had to order. I'm actually not a big foodie, but it was mighty good, quite delicious.

Lin stood up, he had champagne in his glass, "I would like to give a toast to the Broadway Kid, the Hamilton Kid, heck my kid. Gracie, you are now a sixteen singing and dancing Broadway star. So this to you Happy Birthday Gracie Ramos"

Thayne stood up, "Let's eat Cake"
