Gracie's POV
All the recent events played in my head like a record player: The fight with Dan, Tommy leaving the apartment, reporters being well... reporters. Why does my life at the young age of sixteen have to be so complicated? I know I am being a tiny bit dramatic but I start to just think about all the things that have happened in my life. Foster care, homes after homes, abuse after abuse. I would not allow my brain to go back that direction. I learned how it felt too over come sadness to enjoy happiness. I remember what it felt when Jasmine, Anthony, Lin, and the whole cast choose me. I drift back to that fatefully day a long time ago, "You have to come back with me back to the show." I recall Lin's persuasive voice convincing me to go back to the theater. Then I felt heartbreak, as I remember Lin holding me, and telling me that Jas and Anthony were gone. I reminisce over the people I have dated, and the good times I've had.
'Step one, you say we need to talk. He walks, you say sit down, it's just a talk.' I briefly hear The Fray's How To Save A Life.I gently hum the rest of the song and realize I'm not alone in this yellow taxi.
"You can let us out up here" I recognize Jeremy's youthful voice throughout the whole taxi. I look through the window I see roller coasters and rides.
"Jack Kelly would never have come here. How un character of you." I said as Jeremy lent a hand out to me to help me out of the taxi. As I "proper" sixteen year old, I accepted.
"Good thing I'm Jeremy Jordan." He smirked just like Jack Kelly would, oh the sweet irony. "Put these on," Jeremy slid from his pocket to my hand a girly pair of sunglasses. They had a gold heart frame around the eyes. I looked at him confused, as he pushed his Ray Bands back. "It's so nobody recognizes us. "
In case you don't know, Jeremy is very popular on and off Broadway as well as TV. So, a pair of sunglasses was not going to hide the fact that two Broadway persona were out together. I mean I'm well known, it feels like every day I'm outside I end up on a 'GracieSpotted' account. Jeremy and I can't go unspotted, but let's see how this goes.
I snapped away from my thoughts and back to reality. My eyes flutter around the park when I realized I still didn't know exactly where I was, "So, um, where are we?" I asked.
Jeremy stood up basking in the December sun, it shined bright like a star. Which he was. He looked up, gray jeans, blue and white long sleeve shirt, converse, and a black bomber jacket. Stereotypical. "Coney Island!" He sang to the tune of the Love Never Dies soundtrack.
My head popped up to the tune of that fallen musical, "You are an Andrew Lloyd Webber fan?" After all, most people thing that Love Never Dies was a fail so most people haven't heard of it.
"I was born in the eighties so that man was like my dream. He wrote Cats, and Phantom. Those were some of my favorite musicals at the time." I laughed at his remark. "Enough about me. This is your day off. Let's do this." I smile as he reached for my midarm, and we skipped off as we were in the Wizard of Oz.
The first place we went was the carousel! Now I know it sounds basic but Jeremy insisted on going on the lowest rides first, and then working our way up to the big thrills.
After we stood in a prolonged line, which was strange because we were in line for a carousel, I picked a horse to ride on while Jeremy choose a pony. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, heartbreaking Jeremy Michael Jordan picked a child's pony.
I watched him closely as his eyes darted toward an adult man, perhaps a parent. He whispered something in his ear, looked quickly at me, and handed him his phone. Right away, Jeremy returned to me with a smile.
"Hey. Let's take a couple pictures." Jeremy stood behind me, and posed himself as if he was ready for the picture already.
I roll my eyes in a playful manner, "So, I can be apart of your Instagram, with your three hundred thousand followers. " I laugh.
He smiled. I sat up on my children's horse and smiled, while Jeremy sat behind me. Once many pictures were taken, and he had his phone back. The carousel started. Jeremy looked through the photos.
I had a funny thought go through my head, "You know I think you are using me for publicity." We both laughed, knowing it would be the other way around.

"Jeremy. This is really high and scary!" I hyperventilate as the ride goes up and up and til I can barely see people on the round.
"Gracie. It's going to be fine. Just breathe." He convinced me a bit but not too much. I breathe.
"Wait, you are Jeremy Jordan right? You are in Newsies! " A girl right next to me recognizes Jeremy. This is great. I love him being famous, can't you just hear this sarcasm.
"Yea, and this is Gracie. " Jeremy turned the conversation back to us. She looked confused at the sight of me.
"I'm so sorry but I don't know who you are? " I turned back to Jeremy and we just burst laughing.
"So you know Hamilton?" The girl nodded, "Well Lin who wrote, stared, and composed the musical. That's her family, along with Jasmine and Anthony."
"Oh and I'm in Hamilton." I smile and giggle.
This poor girl's face turned bright red and she grew a bright big smile, "Can I get a picture with you two?"
We smiled and posed, she placed her phone up high, but not before the ride started. Her phone fell right out of her hand and down to the ground two hundred feet below.
AN//
I've been volunteering at a summer camp all summer so I haven't really had my phone a whole lot. So that's why there haven't been posting. Also I started senior year in like 4 days.
