A while back I overheard a girl talking to somebody else and complaining about a summer intensive had a very specific pointe shoe they want to girls to wear.  I saw the pointe shoes on the girls feet and well didn't fit her feet. You see pointe shoes are not like regular shoes at all you have to have the right shoes no matter what there's no compromise. This summer intensive  that Edna was doing highly recommended that the girls wear a specific pointe shoe.  Not only was she  complaining about how she didn't like the shoes but was also complaining about the expense. She complained that the shoes were over $300. Think about that for a little bit $300 for a pair of shoes that at the most will last six months just for summer intensive. I don't get it. She also was complaining to one of the teachers that she didn't really even like the pointe shoes. The teacher after hearing her story even said that it was unfair to tell people to wear a specific kind of pointe shoes.  Girls have different feet and need different kinds of pointe shoes and having everyone wear a specific kind point shoes it's just unfair.  The only reason why the girls been recommended to wear the shoes was because the company that makes the shoes sponsors the studio that offers the summer intensive. I just found it just a little messed up.  You need to wear the specific kind of point shoes that are best for you, not any old shoes that are sponsored by a studio.  Anyway sorry if there's any typos I was using voice typing it's not super reliable but I don't feel like typing. I am actually on the vacation and there is like ten kids loud kids in the next room some of which are my brothers.  Anyways, have a nice day and just keep dancing!!~Mia
