I have had three weeks off from ballet and yesterday I had a two hour ballet class. Let me just say one thing, ow! My poor calves and my poor right foot are not happy with me. They'll get better thought. The teacher I had was Mr Stick and to be fair, that is not his actual name but I believe his real name is Mr. King but let's face it, everyone calls him Mr. Stick. The reasoning is because he has a large ruler that he will use as he is telling us how to correct our technique. He doesn't hit us and I have to admit, while the stick is sometimes surprising, it's not too bad. The class was fairly basic and I felt like I didn't do as well as I could have. Then again, I haven't danced in a while. Also, the Marley (floor) was new and not broken in yet and none of us could turn well. Anyways, I want to read before I have to go to my stretch class in a half hour, have a great day and just keep dancing! ~Mia
