DANS POV

When I looked back round Martin was on one knee looking expectedly at me. "Dan, it's been 5 years and they have been some of the best years of my life. I love you and I want to spend all my other years with you. Will you marry me?" Martin said with a grin on his face.

And that's when I saw him, Phil Lester; the only person to break my heart. He has glasses now but he still looks as beautiful as before, or perhaps even more than he used to be. He now has glasses with thick lenses, he's wearing a blue shirt and black skinny jeans. He looks beautiful and I miss him so much, I miss his voice, his personality, him.

He just walked past me with his family. "Phil." I choked out, he turned around and looked right at me.

"Dan!" Phil exclaimed, nearly too exited. He walked towards me and enveloped me in a hug. I stiffened at his touch but I breathed in his scent and it reminded me of home, I missed him so much. I hugged him back and it felt... right. We separated after a long needed hug and Phil had tears in his eyes.

"Martin?" Phil's mother said. I whipped my head round as I remembered he proposed. He proposed! He now has a scowl on his face that replaced the grin he had before. Before I knew what was happening Phil's mother had enveloped Martin in a hug and his distaste was apparent.

"Mum, who's Martin?" Phil asked his mother as his father hugged Martin.

"Uhm... Well... Martin is your brother. Actually he was adopted by another family, but I guess he is here now." This was the first time Phil's mother appeared nervous.

Martin glared daggers at me from across the table and I felt bad for getting sidetracked. His hand was now back in his pocket with the box and he had his tough guy face on, I expected him to be calmer around his parents but that was not the case. "We need to go, Dan come on." Martin said as he nearly dragged me out of the shop.

"What was that for?" I asked once we got outside. "They are your family, you should of been kinder to them!"

"I should of been kinder to them?? Why? They disowned me! Why should I be nice to them?" Martin shouted at me. This was the first time he had ever done that, and I hated it. Tears threatened to spill and I saw how Martins face fell when he saw this. "Hey, i'm sorry. You know I didn't mean to yell." He tried to pull me into a hug but I pushed him away.

"No, i'm sorry, but no. Call me when you have grown up." I walked down the street with newfound courage that soon disappeared as I found I was lost, A few dozen blocks away from where I lived and I wasn't going back there anytime soon.

Hello! What did you think about this chapter? Are you Team Dan or Team Martin? Tell me in the comments and give feedback, I want to know what I need to change.

Anyway, I have been surprisingly active recently (On here, of course.) but that's only because i've had a week off so don't expect updates to come this fast in the future.
