Dan POV
"Fuck!" I exclaim as I stub my toe on something outside of my door. I look down and see a random cardboard box, I kick it to make sure it isn't a bomb and take it into my room.
I sit down on my bed and place it next to me. My hands nervously hover over the top and I stare at it in anticipation. I slowly open it to see a folded piece of paper, I opened it to see that it said:
'Hey Dan,
I'm sorry for everything that's happened, I would love to talk about it sometime and just try and sort this out. I hope you're okay.
Phil x'
God, I miss talking to Phil so much, this letter doesn't make missing him any easier.
I look into the box properly now and I pull out two boxes of maltesers and some popcorn, I smile as I hold the food in my hands and put them down on my bed before pulling my phone out. I go into my texts and go onto Phil's contact and I begin to type.
'Thanks for the box full of food. I'm going down to the coffee shop at the bottom of our street, I'll be there for the in 20 minutes, if you want to talk we can talk there.'
I hit send and immediately felt awkward for sending such a short and boring message.
I grabbed a pair of jeans and a jumper from my chair and threw them on before heading out the door and wandering slowly down to the café and getting a seat near the window so I could see you walk by.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I eagerly fished it out before seeing a text from Phil:
'Sure thing! I'll be there soon :)'
Even though the message was short it made me smile and I slowly scrolled through pictures to occupy myself as I waited.
A/N
Hey! I'm so sorry for not updating sooner, recently I've been lacking motivation to write on here and I'm sorry about that. But I have missed you all so much!
Thanks, Ruby xxx
