Dan POV
I walk into the flat, and Phil comes out of his room. He smiles at me. "Hi, Phil," I say hiding the bag I fixed for him behind my back.
"Hey Dan. What is that?" He asks pointing behind my back. I smile and run to my room. "Dan!"
"Nothing!" I say hiding the bag in my closet. I smile and walk out to him. "You'll know soon enough," I say.
"But I want to know now," he whines, giving me puppy eyes.
"Shush my dear friend," I say. I turn around and go back into my room, and close the door.
I lay and scroll through my Twitter and Tumblr for about an hour when I finally hear the front door open. I put my phone down and strain to listen to what is happening outside.
"PJ," Phil says sounding upset. "Oh, Chris. It's been a while." I walk into the lounge, cautiously and stand in the doorway awkwardly.
"Oh, you're here," PJ says looking at me.
"PJ, he lives here, remember?" Phil says and PJ rolls his eyes. I look down in shame.
"Hello," I say.
"Dan, hi," Chris says. I frown and keep my head down. I don't know why I just still feel awkward around him. I guess even though it was so long ago I feel guilty about the kiss. "It's been a while."
"Yeah, it has I guess," I say. "Um, I guess I'm going back to my room. Bye," I say quickly walking back to my room. I keep thinking about what I heard at the shop and it makes me want to cry and just protect Phil.
Phil's POV
"Bye," I say as he walks out.
"What is wrong with him?" Chris says. I shrug. "Okay."
We sit in silence for a moment before Chris asks. "Is Dan single?"
"Yes!" PJ replies, full of enthusiasm, as soon as the worlds leave Chris' mouth. I feel my heart sink. But why?
