Chapter Twelve- The Date

Garroth's POV
Don't freak out. Don't freak out. Don't freak out.

You're just about to go on a date with the girl of your dreams.

Yup. I'm freaking out.

Why did she say 'yes'? I don't get it.

Does she like me?

Why did she agree to go out with me?

"Garroth!"

I snapped back into reality. I realized I've been pacing back and forth in the living room. I stopped and looked at Laurance.

"What Laurance?" I asked.

"Stop. Freaking. Out. You'll be fine." He said.

"B-But what if she-"

"Stop. You're over-thinking this. She likes you. Aren't you happy she said 'yes'?" He asked.

"W-Well, y-yeah."

"Then stop worrying. Now come on. Let's go get them." He said, getting up and walking over to the door. He turned around and shouted to Dante and Travis.

"We'll be back later tonight! See you two later!"

"Okay! Good luck!" Dante shouted.

He smiled and opened the door. I hesitantly came over and we walked across the street to the girls' house.

Aphmau's POV
"Aphmau~Senpai and Katelyn~Sama look super cute!" Kawaii~Chan said as we walked downstairs from changing.

"Thanks, Kawaii~Chan." I said back.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I knew it was the guys.

I went over to the door with Katelyn behind me and opened it. Sure enough, Garroth and Laurance were standing there, both in nice clothes.

They both smiled once I opened the door.

"Hey girls." Laurance greeted and we smiled.

"Hey guys." I said back.

Laurance looked at Katelyn.

"Ready to go, Katelyn?" He asked and Katelyn walked over to him.

"Yeah. I'll see you later, Aphmau." She then shouted to Kawaii~Chan.

"Bye, Kawaii~Chan!"

"Bye, Katelyn~Sama! Have fun!" She shouted back.

Laurance and Katelyn then left, leaving me and Garroth alone.

I looked at him. He was already staring at me, eyes wide.

"You okay, Garroth?" I asked him and he smiled.

"Yeah. A-Aphmau, you look b-beautiful." He said, blushing a deep shade of red.

I felt my face heat up, too.

"Thanks, Garroth." He smiled.

"S-So, you ready to go?" He asked and I smiled.

"Yeah, let's go." I said 'bye' to Kawaii~Chan and Garroth and I left.

We started walking together on the sidewalk. I looked at him. His face was still super red.

"Are you okay, Garroth? You seem quiet." I asked and he looked at me.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." He said.
