Chapter 11

The reception was filled by paper mache style flowers, birds and hearts decorations. Lots of visitors were chatting around the hall venue. Good thing I arrived in the reception not really late, enough to see the mushy and cheesy thing of the wedding celebrants.

I sat in the table along our close friends in office. I was just smiling at them.  Damien looking intently to his wife. I saw the glow in his eyes, the real happiness in his face. He looks at me granting me an assuring smile. I smiled back to him raising the cup of wine that I'm holding. I mouthed 'Congrats" at him.

I must say Damien was very much like me in our younger years. We used to have lots of fling but the only difference we had was that he's serious when entering relationship and I was not. Hindi ko tuloy maiwasan na isipin na magiging ganun din ako kasaya kagaya ni Damien. I wish it really happen.

I get my phone in my pocket and browse the message software. I'm composing a text message to my one and only Mimi. Damn it I don't know what I'm going write.

'Hi there' Damn it, that was too FC or feeling close. I erased it.

'Hi Mimi, it's me Seb' Great! Do you think na rereplayan ka niya.

I erased it again. I think of something great pero wala akong maisip. I'm not good at this.

'Accept the things which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart. I love you" I think this is ok. I clicked the send button then sent.

Ok nay un, for sure she will know kung sino yung sender. The emcee started to speak what will be the outgoing scenario will be happening in the reception.

"Ok guys, as our beloved wedding celebrant is kind of a bit cheesy in front of us bakit hindi naten pakinggan ang kanilang nararamdaman, of course they were happy but can you tell us a little bit of your love story. " The emcee said.

The emcee handed the microphone to Liza and she accepted it. She's beautiful, no doub that Damien is head over heels to her and she's not just that she's kind. But Mimi is way more beautiful in my ways.

"Ok, uhmm, you know what our love story began in the most unexpected way. I hated him for all I know because he's such a flirt.." she said the crowd laughed to what she said including me. Yeah that's true about him.

"....pero kahit na ganyan siya he's sweet, caring and most of all he shows me that love me. Somehow the saying the more you hate the more love is quite applicable into us but he doesn't hate me. Naiinis kase ako sa kanya pag ngumingiti siya na ewan tapos ang landi landi pa and that's the turning point sa ginagawa nya nasasanay na ako na nandyan siya at napamahal narin siya sa akin. Love binds us in most unexpected way and you'll never know natamaan ka na pala nang pag ibig. Damien, my husband, I wish that you'll stay the way you are and I hope you don't change. I wish that you never give up on me whenever I have this tantrums or anything. I love you always remember that" She ended.

I'm touched to what she said. Yeah love binds us in the most unexpected way and I'm still regretting the times na nandun na yung pag ibig ko, na nakasama ko na pero sinaktan ko pa.

"Na touch naman ako dun Mahal. Pero tama si Liza, I used to hangout with other girls with my bestfriend." He said and then he stared at me with his mischievous smile in his face.

Damn him, pati ba naman yun sinabi nya. Of course sino pa ba ang bestfriend nya dito? Ako lng naman yung kasama nya since nung elemenatary pa kame.

"But I will not named my bestfriend for his reputation and he's the same with me na we met our match. " He continued. Buti naman ako ng maluwag

"Anyway, Korning isipin pero nalove at first sight ata ako sa asawa ko. We met way back three years ago and I saw her in her company while I'm having a so called visitation kuno sa company nila, it's a project stuff just to clarify. Then dun na nagstart, kinulit ko siya, ginamitan ko siya ng mga charms ko and siya ang sungit sungit. Somehow mas lalo akong naaattract sa pag tataray nya sa akin. Nakalimutan ko na nga yung pag hangout ko because I really love her then after a long run sinagot ko na siya" he said. Pinalo naman siya ni Liza at natawanan na naman ang mga tao.

"I was just kidding Mahal, SInagot na nya ako then you know the feeling when someone that you love accepted you and has the same mutual feelings to you. The feeling was so ecstatic. Up to this moment mahal na mahal ko paren siya. She changed me for the better, she made me realised things na akala ko hindi na mangyayari sa akin, she's still with me even though she knew all my fiascos in life, my issues. She inspires me to do better and most of all she love unconditionally. I love you wife, just remember that. I know that there will be trials in our marriage but just remember that I love you ok. " He said and I could feel the sincerity in his voice, and the truthness of his words.

The crowd applauded them. I'm so happy for my bestfriend, finally he made it. I get up on my feet and granted them a standing ovation. I held the cup wine and lifted up to them

"Everyone let's have a toast for them" I shouted. Everyone shouted cheers and drunk the tossed wine.

I handed the glass in the table and made a loud whistle to them. Masaya ako para sa kaibigan ko and I should be happy to myself too. I know life is battle of uneding pain but atleast guarantee ourselves with the perks of happiness. Live our life guided by the true happiness and I'm living my life with this unconditional and irrevocable love for Mimi. And I think by far that's makes me whole and new again. I love her for all I know.
