Chapter 8- Inazuma Town

(F/n) was blushing the whole ride to Inazuma Town with Fubuki and Gouenji looking at her the whole ride.

Gouenji POV

Why did I make such an action? Thank god she's not hurt, if she feel she would've hit her head again. Why was her face red when I saved her, does she have a fever or something?

Fubuki's POV
I wished I was the one saving (F/n), she was blushing when she was caught. Does she like Gouenji? Wait a second, do I like (F/n)?

3rd Person POV
The team arrived in Inazuma Town and everyone got off the bus.
"We will take a break tomorrow, means no soccer tomorrow, it is important to rest" Kantoku said,
"Yatta(yes)" the team exclaimed. But then a back ball came down from the sky.
"Raimon we, Diamond Dust will be waiting at the Football Frontier stadium, if you don't come, we will kick black soccer balls randomly in Tokyo." The black ball said,
"If that happens, Tokyo will be destroyed" Megane screeched.
"There's no choice, let's head to the stadium at once" Kantoku said
"Hai" Raimon replied instantly.

"We do not know what the team is like, we don't know how they will attack or how they will defend, (F/n) you will be benched today because you still don't know the play style of Raimon, so today you will watch carefully from the bench" Kantoku said
"Hai Kantoku" (F/n) said.

The score was 2-0 with Raimon losing and trying to catch up, Rika tried to dribble but was cut by a slide tackle by the other team. She hugged her leg unable to get up,
"(F/n) get warm up your going on" Kantoku ordered,
"Hai" (F/n) started to warm up. Ichinose carried Rika to the bench were the managers were getting ready to cure the injury.
"Ill leave it to you" Rika said as she high fived (F/n), (F/n) ran to her position next to Gouenji,
"Let's get one in Gouenji" (F/n) said,
"Yea" Gouenji replied. It was a throw in for the other team, they threw it to one of their players but (F/n) quickly intercepted the ball. She dribbled to the goal but was circled around by the Diamond Dust players,
"Here (F/n)" Gouenji called, (F/n) saw Gouenji run from behind so she passed through the window of the defenders to Gouenji feet. He then passed the ball back into (F/n)'s feet who moved into the open space, now she was wide open,
"(H)!!!!" (F/n) shot headed to the goal with speed, the goalie couldn't react to it and went in the goal. (F/n) and Gouenji high fived and smiled at eachother,
"Nice goal"
"Nice assist"

"Those two really work nice together" Kantoku said in the bench,

The game restarted and Diamond dust members immediately put 2 mans on (F/n), everytime Raimon stole the ball, they tried to pass to (F/n) but she was completely marked. Beeeeeep
The whistle blew making the first half end.
"We will continue our attack and keep it how it is" Kantoku commanded,
"Okay" the team agreed. (F/n) was taking a sip of water when Endou came to her,
"That shot was amazing (F/n), keep it up" Endou complimented
"Yea make another goal in the second half" Domon added
"Thanks guys, i'm glad I can help" (F/n) said.

The two teams went back onto the field to play the second half of the game. Beeeeeeeeeeep
The whistle blew and the game restarted. The game went back and forth with no one of both teams getting a real shooting chance. It was the 44th minute with only 1 minute to go. Touko stole the ball away from one of the players and dribbled through the midfield. (In (F/n)'s mind) there's not much time left in this game, i need to do something. (F/n) looked up at Gouenji and Gouenji looked back at (F/n), they both nodded and (F/n) sprinted back to the midfield,
"Touko pass me the ball!" (F/n) called for the ball, Touko passed the ball to (F/n), she trapped the ball and winded up,
"(H)" (F/n) said, the goal keeper smiled and thought that ball is getting no where she shot from the halve. But then Gouenji jumped and met the ball in the air,
"FIRE TORNADO" Gouenji kicked the ball which was shot by (F/n), it was a shooting chain. The ball was really powerful and went through the keeper easily.
"That was amazing guys!" Endou said from Raimons goal, but suddenly the whistle blew indicating the end of the game. The game ended up with a tie but it showed a lot of improvement for Raimon.
