I looked around for ways to break out of Jimin's apartment. The first thing I did was to check if there were any phones that I could use, but of course there was none. I then went around checking every single window of the house. They all had restrict on how much they could be open by, and I could absolutely not fit through the gaps even if I opened them to the widest.
"Fuck!" I cursed when I hammered the window with my fist. "Why did I do that?"
I looked around for anything that I could throw onto the glass to break the window, and found a hefty book. I bought it to in front of the window, took a step back, and threw it as hard as I could towards the window. It hit the glass square on his surface, but there wasn't even a crack. Damn, it must have been reinforced glass.
I put the book back where I found it and decided to look around Jimin's house instead. Near the front door was a nice and clean kitchen. Then there was a room that seemed like a study, and a bathroom next to it. I realized that there was only one bedroom... and one bed. I decided to explore the rooms since I was starting to get bored, starting with the bedroom.
It was just like any normal bedrooms, with a wardrobe, some drawers, a desk, and a double-bed in the middle. It was just quite bare with no posters or anything on the walls. I found out that all the drawers were locked when I tried to open them. I went to open the wardrobe instead.
"Not bad..." I nodded to myself as I judged Jimin's fashion style.
There weren't many interesting things in the study either. It was just a small room with another desk, a mac on the desk, some music albums, a shelful of books, some more locked drawers. I then moved onto the kitchen. Again, it as just a like any normal kitchen with stoves and a fridge, and a breakfast bar. I went though all the cupboards out of boredom, but found nothing of interest as they were only things like grocery and cleaning supply. That was until I came to the last cupboard.
The cupboard was at the end of the row, right by the wall. It was a rather large cupboard. What was different was that there seemed to be a password lock installed on the doors of it. I curiously tried to open it, expecting nothing much, but to my surprise, it wasn't locked.
I slowly uncovered the cupboard more, and what I saw inside made my jaw drop. In there, different types of guns were sorted neatly on a shelf that was made specifically to hold them, and there were some ammos along with some knifes and other weapon-like things which I have never seen before.
I reached out and took hold of the smallest one, a handgun I presumed. I ran a hand along its black barrel with a mixture of shock and marvel. I had never seen a gun in with my own eyes in my life, let alone touch one.
"So you found it." Jimin's voice suddenly startled me so much that I almost dropped the gun.
"Careful." He hurried to me and took the gun out of my hands before I can do any damage to it.
"Gosh you scared me. How did you get in so silently?" I asked as I put a hand to my beating heart.
"I didn't." I guess I was just too absorbed marveling at the gun. He nodded towards the living room, "Your things are there."
I walked out of the kitchen and found a sports bag on the sofa. I went to unzip it, finding lots of my stuff in there, even the laptop and chargers that I asked for.
"I think that's everything." Jimin said.
"Yea... Thanks?" I took out down stuff, "Where should I put my things?"
He nodded towards his room and walked towards it so I followed him with my things. He unlocked two of the drawers and opened them to reveal that they were empty.
"Put them in there."
I nodded. He went out of the room and I heard the door to his study closed. I unpacked my stuff for a bit. When I finished, I took my laptop and went to sit on the sofa. I opened my prized possession that costed me a year of saving and typed the password. I realized that I needed an internet connection to do anything with it.
I went over to Jimin's study, and hesitated before knocking on the door. It was opened soon.
"Um... Can I please have the wifi password?" I asked shyly.
"Yea." He walked into the study, go something from his desk, and handed it to me. It was a card with the wifi name and password on it. He then handed me something else, which I realized was my phone.
"Thanks." I said.
"Don't do anything you shouldn't." He warned. I nodded with a gulp.
I looked past him into his study and saw that on the Mac, a music program was opened.
"Have you been working on music?" I asked.
"Yes, it's my hobby."
"Can I hear?"
"Sure."
He pointed for me to sit in the chair, and put some beats headphones on me. The track started playing, and honestly, it surprised me with how good it was. It was a skippy and melodic tune with a light beat in the background.
"This is surprisingly good." I said.
"I want to make it into a song, but I haven't started writing the lyrics yet."
"Maybe I can help?" I offered. I had always been interested in music, especially song writing and producing. But unfortunately, I never had the time nor money.
"Sure. I'll send the track to you." He said.
I smiled, and went back out to the living room to get wifi on my laptop. I sat on the sofa and looked back at Jimin's study. He was back to working on his music, this time with the door opened.
